once upon a time.....
there was a girl who live in a tower. the castle which had the towers was guarded by a griffin. the griffin was old and steeped in tradition. he looked youthful enough but he duty was purely ceremonially.
the other girls had princes who would take them out. the girl would look out her tower window watching them come and go. the girl had an evil roommate so she spent much time hiding in various places in the tower. she watch the occupants prepare for special holidays and event. the girl sat in her nook with a book and head phones and was not noticed.

once upon a time the girl wanted to be noticed.....
once upon a time she wanted to be rescued.....
once upon a time the sun would turn her into dust....

she sat in her nook with a book and her headphone and dreamed. she dreamed of being safe and having friends. she dreamed about what it would be like to be somewhere and actually participate. she dreamed of what might be. the girl was very lost and live in a tower with many expectations and was a long way from home. she dreamed of her cat and how he was with out her. everyone just came and went until it was spring. everything brightened and the girl had almost made it through. she sat on the grass out side with her shoes off. she blew bubbles and watched them float away and she dream about dancing.
