it was amazing.
went to the movies while ya held me close the whole time
haha the rum diaries, such silly things were said!
it was sooo long too, i fell asleep for a little, i hope ya didnt mind.
but what can i say, warm man, long movie, sleepy kait. ):

dropped hannah and her lub off
then we just went back home,
sat in the car for a little while.
i'm not even sure what we were talking about
but ya looked down like you were sad so i wanted to give ya some love

held my hands and then you looked at me,
so scared and unsure of what would happen.
i thought something bad was about to be said. i got scared too.
but then you asked it, looking me straight in the eye with my hands in yours
and i couldn't even be nonchalant about it.

it was probably the last thing i expected,
but the best question i've ever been asked.
"will you be my girlfriend?"
so excited haha i just said yes in almost a whisper and started kissing you
whispered i love you in between kisses, i could feel that love all over.

then we rushed in the house, so cold with that rain
but we just cuddled and loved on one another.
then eventually one thing led to another
and it wasn't like any time before.
it was slow and patient while you hold me close.
while you kissed me so i could feel that love even more.
it lasted so long but it wasn't just "sex" and i didn't want it to end.

but even when it did
and we just talked about the future and all that silly stuff, it felt right.
when you told me about how you wanna travel the world, but you'll wait for me so i can come too i couldn't help but smile
i was honestly at a loss for words because of this glimpse into your heart that i would have never expected.
"you're the only one on my mind all the time, so you don't need to be worried." i believe that now.
even as you talked about your family and your sister and mama everything just felt right. even when you told me they both came first, i was okay with that.
you talked about how you wanted to support my dreams, and hoped i would support yours too. i hope you know you have my support, and it's not going anywhere.
through your raps, your cooking school, or whatever else you may do - as long as it's done with good intent, you have my support entirely.

i'm not really sure why i decided to write down everything that happened that night,
other than to say i want to make sure this day is something i can share with your silly bad memory. i love you, luis. you da bomb.
