So worthless.
So pointless.
Why waste this time, when it's become evident that what we think we want,
Is the complete opposite of what we're seeking.

I'm ready.
READY.
Oh so ready to feel the love of someone else.

But you're not.
You're so far from it.
And that's fine.
It's respectable.
But don't you dare think you can keep me around.
Wavering, hoping that you'll come around.

I think it's time we go separate ways.
And this isn't because I hate you,
Or I dislike you,
Or I'm mad at you.

It's just that,
Even if we loved each other like we both slightly wish we could,
We don't. We can't.
It wouldn't work.

You said it yourself,
You can't handle distance.
So why do you keep torturing not only me,
but yourself, with the idea of having me within arms reach?

It makes no sense.
None. Whatsoever.
So I'll end this charade.
We'll go our separate ways.

And maybe,
If you're lucky.
If I'm lucky.
We'll meet again some day.
Face to face.
Be able to embrace.

Feel like whatever we do is within good faith.
But for now,
You're just a stranger,
Someone who could've meant something,
But the timing wasn't right.

I have no intentions to fight.

Let's split like bananas,
Enjoy our summers,
Enjoy our lives.
Make mistakes with people unsuspecting.
Find love in new places.
Find ourselves in better situations.

You mean a lot to me,
But I realize that isn't enough right now.
And I can't handle the way you go back and forth.
The way you can't stick to something.

I need something.. less fickle,
Something more solid.
I need something I can really see in the long run,
Instead of something running away from me every time I get closer to it,
Close enough to feel my heart beating out of its chest.

I want to be your friend.
That's all.
Just your friend,
If we can handle it.
Surely, you can handle friendship from a distance, right?
