Sweet peas are one of the flowers used to represent April. They can mean blissful or delicate pleasure. They also carry the meaning of saying goodbye and thanking someone for a great time. The flower is also associated with young children and is often used to decorate baby things. Superstition says to plant it before sunrise on St. Patrick's day and it will grow larger then normal and more fragrant.
