Onyx TheOnyx is the birthstone for the zodiac sign of Leo. Legend says that once when Venus was sleeping Eros cut her nails and left the clipping scattered on the ground. These were then turned into onyxes.It is said to help you become the master of your own fate. It is also said to cool the arbors of love. This can be to the point of causing arguments and separation.
