One sound that people usually love to hear is the sound of bells. Bells are also a popular item to decorate with during the holidays. We have all read the saying that when a bell rings an angel gets it's wings so lets take a look at other stories connected to this item.

Bells are said to drive away demons because they are afraid of loud noises. A bell ringing by itself could be an omen of death or that a crime had been committed. It could also mean that a saint is in your presence. Two bells ringing at the same time in a home means someone is leaving soon. Bells are also said to scare away snakes and mice. They also are suppose to cause flying witches to fall to the ground and ease childbirth. During a storm ringing church bells is supposes to help end the bad weather. It can also help in plagues and ensure a good crop during harvest time.
