Just to let you know I will be away for the rest of the week. Today lets look at one of my favorite gemstones the rose quartz.
The rose quartz is known as the love stone. It is suppose to help give you a strong sense of self worth. It turn this is suppose to make you feel worthy of love. It is also suppose to help with wrinkles and make the skin more beautiful.
In Greek myth this stone became tied to love and reconciliation with the story of Aphrodite and Adonis. When Aphrodite saved Adonis from Ares she cut herself on a thorn bush. Her blood and Adonis' blood mingled together and fall on some clear quartz staining it pink.
