The Rain Will be our tears

Elena woke up with the light in her eyes. She didn't bother sitting up but she just laid there. Her eyes wondered around the room and she realized she was in Division Fours quarters. She lifted her hand and rubbed the sleep away from her eyes.

"Where am I?" she closed her eyes and tried to remember what had happened. It then clicked. The sight of Chi's red eyes burned her mind, the sword that peirced her stomach.

She jumped out of bed and slung the door open. Kenpachi was outside the door when she opened it, holding a tray of food. Elena blinked seeing him. The thoughts of him allmost dieing came to her again. She grabbed her head and ran down the hallway.
"Elena!"He shouted dropping the tray and chased after her.

Elena's mind continued to race. Kenpachi's weak body, Chi's red eyes, Gin's smirk, Aizen's words. It all hit her in a flash. The wound in her stomach started to bleed through the wraps around it.
"No...It can't be true....please let it be a dream!" she shouted to herself.

Kenpachi continued to chase after her. He reached out and grabed her hand, "Elena! Please! Calm down! What's wrong?!"
Elena turned and looked at his face. All she saw was his covered in blood from the day she thought she lost him. She shrugged away from him and stared at him in fear. She backed away and started to Division 13's area. Kenpachi watched as she ran away. He had never seen such fear in her face before. He looked down at his hand and bit his lip. "s**t..." He looked up to the sky and saw the rain clouds gather. "Elena...."

When she got to the division she bumped into Kotsubaki and Kiyone.
"Shikru? What are yo-" Kotsubaki was interrupted with Elena's screaming.
"Please! Tell me it was dream! Please! Please tell me Chi is here! Please tell me she's here or with Gin! Tell me Aizen has not betrayed us! TELL ME!" She grabbed his collar and pulled him to her face.
He stared at her for a minute, but he then lowered his head. "I'm sorry...but I can't say what isn't true."
Elena's eyes widened.She shook her head. "No..." Tears were all over her face."Your lieing!"

"Enough Shikru!" The Captain of the 13th Company stepped out and caused Elena to silence.
"Captain...." She let Kotsubaki go and she fell to the ground. "It's true then....It wasn't a dream....She's really gone...."
Amaya stepped from behind him,she was in a worst state then Elena was. The sight of Amaya sad killed Elena. It was something she wished she had never seen. "Amaya....."
Amaya pulled Elena up and pulled her away from her Division.

"Hey! Amaya!" Kiyone was about to chase after the two, but Ukitake raised his hand.
"No...The only people that are going to help each other through this is them." He looked over to see Kenpachi heading over to their Division.
"Zaraki." He tried to smile. "Here for Elena?"
"Yeah." They stared at each other a long moment. Kenpachi closed his eye then sighed. "There's no use in wearing a plastic smile. You lost something dear to you. You have nothing to smile about."
Ukitake lowered his eyes to the ground. His fist clinched into a ball as a tear went down his face.

Amaya dragged Elena all the way into the middle of the forest where she made an imidiate stop. She let go of Elena's hand which left Elena to stare at Amaya's back side.
"This has caused problems for all of us..."Amaya's voice was tired and weak.
Elena closed her eyes and smelled the air. "It's going to rain...."
Amaya turned around. Elena then opend her eyes. They both stared at each other for a moment.
"Your in pain...."A tear fell from Elena's face.
"So are you." Amaya voice was shakey.
"But your in more pain then I am. You lost a daughter. I can't imagine what's thats like."
"Its painfull...Ukitake and I couldn't sleep at all last night....I was worried....about her ....and you..."Her voice broke and she began to shake. "I thought I was going to lose you both!"
Elena's face overflowed with tears. "You stupid b***h! You shouldn't worry about me!" She stomped up to Amaya and grabbed her collar. "I am the Fourth Seat of Division 11! I am the one who is going to die before anyone else is! So don't you dare worry about me!" Elena's body began to shake then.
"How can't I Elena! Its enought I have to worry about Chi! I lost her! Your my friend! If I end up losing you, then I will end up with nothing!"

Elena's eyes widened. Her jaw clinched. "You still have him....and don't worry ....I will get her back..." she growled. " I promise...you will never end up alone....you should consider yourself lucky."
Amaya stared at her. "You have them to, Elena. Captain Zaraki, Yachi-"
"I realize that. But...You have the worst luck. As much as you have fun you have to much pain to go through. Your Captain, Your Daughter....They affect us all. I will return everything back to the way it was."
"Elena....it will never be the same..." Amaya whispered.
Elena's grip loosened."I...I know....but....I just have to get her back...."
They both fell to the ground and the rain began to fall. Their bodies began to shake and the tears came faster than before. They looked up at each other then slumg their arms around each other. Their cries harmonzied with the rain. All their pain poured as if it was the rain itself. The rain was their tears and the thunder was their cries for the one they lost.
