Raven Wings

Of a sinister darkness shall we paint the skies
Shades of grey for the color blind
Erase the beauty from his eyes and lips
Show to me how cold is his kiss
Repaint the funeral that I had lived through
No more shall the skies remain shades of blue
He rode on raven wings as he flew away
A time when he left behind all of his pain
For among the darkness, the moon only shone
A torturous light that never led me home
