As if my heart couldn't yearn much more
For a simple touch from the hand that holds my Love
Where you're the sunshine I find within this storm
As you wipe away the rain and turn it into a dove
How I long for your scent to fill my every breath
I close my eyes and dream
The pounding becomes louder inside my chest
As I see your face smiling back at me
How I long to reach out, take hold, and never let go
I cling to the only thing that keeps me sane
Only with you shall my heart ever be home
Only with you shall this emptiness go away
I cradle your heart gently in my finger tips
And whisper to you a lullaby
I crave for the taste upon your lips
And slowly, I close my eyes
The wait seems to be endless
But your endless beauty is the only thing I dream of
My heart is yours, defenseless
And every grain of sand that falls for you is worth it, My Love
