--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-in a little town not far off from Kohonagakure-
Watatigarasu Katorin was eating breakfest when it happened. She wanted a normal day. She didn't want to almost get killed by the Akatski, again. She didn't want anything to do with ANBU. She didn't want to run away from newbie rogues that wanted the reward money on her head. She didn't want to do anything today. Just walk around see the towns, camp out in the forest. But no, she was never gonna do that today. A messenger hawk sat its self next to the bartender with a message with her name on it. He took off the message that it was holding. Making the bird stay he walked over to counter. He handed her the message. "A message from Leaf." She hid her surprise and took it. She opened it up and she practically jumped.
"YES! FINALLY SOMETHING TO DO!" All thoughts of relaxing thrown out of her mind.
With a giddy expression she paid for her breakfest and set off to Kohonagakure pouring in chakra as fast as she could into her feet to make go faster. She smirked when she soon saw the gates of the village. They didn't call her lightening raven for nothing. She went into the village passing security easily but then stopped. She didn't know where to find the Hokage. 'Oh, dear..where is it?!' She took off again onto the roofs. She jumped a couple when something appeared and slamed into her. She flew off toward the other side of the building and the same could be said with the mysterious thing that popped up. She recovered quickly. Without a second thought of what it might have been, she jumped back up to the roof to see what it was.
--
The dreams had all but stopped except for the girls voice inside his head. Everytime he closed his eyes he could hear it perfectly. "Goodnight whitey!" and him ansering "my hair is gray." and many other things and before he woke up before he opened his eyes he always heard. "'Morning Sleepy Head!" Kakashi would smile then opened his eyes to find he was alone. He shook his head. He needed to stop this as soon as he could. He put on his clothes and vest and his bag. He latched on his Kunai holder and pulled up his mask. He walked out of his apartment and out into the humid morning breathing in the air. He smiled to himself. First it is off to Tsunade for any missions. Hopefully she won't have any missions and Kakashi could sleep in. 'Lazy bumb." He scolded himself but shook his head and sighed. He looked up and saw a cloudless sky with a bright sun. Good things happen on days like this. So he streched and jumped up to the roof in front of him. 'Time to see Lady Tsunade.'
A smack as loud as a thunder clap could be heard throughout the village as two people hit each other, frontal attack, full force. And so did their grunts. "OUCH!" "OW!"
--
That was his last thought before he got knocked back down to the ground by a very hard force. 'Was that a girl's voice?' He recovered quickly and inspected the roof top. Kakashi soon saw someone look down from up on the roof. At least it looked like a person.
"Hey! Are you the one I bumped into?! Are you all right?!" It was a girl.
Kakashi smirked underneath his mask and jumped up to meet the girl. He thought it was cute how she said that they bumped. When he got up there the girl rushed toward him. She wasn't carrying any weapons that he could see. She seemed worried too. He would have said something but he couldn't stop staring. She was beautiful. She wore a light blue robe with black birds on the bottom so he couldn't see her body but could see her long and strong looking legs covered in fishnet stockings and skaterlooking shoes. Though he saw only that, she was still stunning. Her eyes were a deep chocolate brown with specks of black in them and big. Her face looked heart shaped and her complextion was scarless and not a blemish on her. Her black as night hair was pulled into a low pony tail to let some tendrils out. But those eyes, he could have gotten lost in those eyes if she didn't say something to snatch him up from a hypnosis.
"Hey are you all right?" Her voice was very clear and precise but it was tinted with worry.
He blinked a couple of times until he found his voice. "Yeah, don't worry. I'm fine." He inspected her a little more until he went on. "How about you?"
"I'm fine too!"
She sighed with relief and looked back up at him again. Her face reddened. He thought that it was because of the way he looks. Lots of girls do that and they even told him. He sighed thinking this would just be another heart throb until he saw a paper infront of his face.
"Um, do you know where this place is?"
He looked at her rather confused. "What?"
"Do you know where hokage place is? I'm supposed to meet her and I don't where it is." Her face was as red as a tomato.
"Um, are you okay? Your face is red."
She looked away and her face redden more. Kakashi was about to laugh. Was she embarrsed of not knowning where it was? That was way too cute.
"Yeah, I know where it is." He soon told her the directions and was about to leave when she grabbed his sleeve he turned around and almost went hysterical when he saw her bright teary eyes and her excuse.
"Can you show me? I suck at directions."
He nodded and some of his laughter escaped. She pouted, which made her look sexy Kakashi pointed out, and looked away. "Well I'm sorry. I just got here and I don't know the landscape of the place."
Kakashi shook his head. "Sorry. I didn't mean to laugh." It was just to damn cute he thought. She turned and smiled brightly.
"That's okay. But could you?"
"Yeah, I could." He couldn't help but tease her.
She sighed and glared which just made her look cuter. "Can you please take me to the Hokage's place."
Kakashi bowed. "Of course."
Her face lit up from the glare and giggled from the bow. "Why thank you very much." Curtsing a thank you.
Kakashi chuckled from her response and pointed toward the hokage's place. AN- I have no idea where that is by the way I mean, what it's called "It's this way."
She nodded an okay and he jumped off. She followed him closely. He couldn't help but look back. Why is this giggling girl going to meet Lady Tsunade? Do they have busniess with each other? He smiled a little bit when she was looking at the people below. She looked back at him with sparkling eyes.
"Wow! So it is true! This place is a ninja village!"
He stopped and sweat dropped. "Well, of course it is.."
She knew what he ment she waved her hands in the air in front of her chest area to help her explination. "NO! Not like that! I meant that this whole place is filled with ninja right?! Like no one isn't normal villagers! Right?!"
Kakashi half nodded. "Well, you're right. Kind of." She looked at him quizally AN-Spelled right? and he started over. "Some kunoichi retire when they get a kid to take care of." Kakashi thought back about his family. 'It's what my mother did, and she still got killed.' Kakashi snapped out of his illusion when he saw that she had taken off to the Ichiraku Ramen Shop. He smiled as she sat down and order the biggest bowl of pork ramen. Kakashi hopped off the roof and landed behind her and sat next to her. The owner of the shop, AN-I DONT KNOW THE NAME! I'M SO PATHETIC! smiled at him. "So, you with her?"
Kakashi nodded. "Yep."
He smirked. "So are you going to be a gentleman and pay for the nice lady?"
Before he could say anything the girl shook her head violently. "No! I ordered for this bowl I pay for it!" She looked at both of them definitly and Kakashi waved at her as if saying, There's your answer. The man chuckled and nodded. "Hey! Excuse me Old Man sir!" He froze when her heard old man but smiled gently at the sir. "Can I have another bowl?" Kakashi could have sworn his eye popped out of his head. Her bowl was finished and he didn't even see her pick up her chopsticks. The man nodded and started getting her soup ready. "Oh! And can you make it with everything?!" He nodded again and beaming. "That's what I like. A girl with an appeitite!" She giggled and looked over at Kakashi and smiled. "I would like to thank you for all you have done for me! Thanks for sticking around." She gasped with shock. "OH MY GOD! I AM SO SORRY! s**t!!"[b/] She scared the man that was cooking her noodles and flung the noodles up in the air and it landed right back into the pot. He said sighed with relief but then said s**t for himself when he noticed that it stuck to the bottom of the pan. XD sorry, I just cooked some ramen and I kept it in too long..the noodles were stuck so I had to put that in! XD Sorry again
She stood up quickly and bowed at Kakashi who looked around a little surprised. "Um, why are you bowing and swearing really loud?"
She looked up at him with tears already running out of her eyes that made him feel bad. He hated tears. "I'm soooo sorry!" She grabbed the front of his vest and shook him dramatically. "I'm making you running around just for my own personal need! I DIDN'T EVEN ASK IF I COULD COME HERE!" She let go of his vest, which didn't help because he was still shaking a little bit, and leaned over to the counter while covering her hands with her arms. "I AM SO SORRY!! I'M SO SELFISH! I JUST COULDN'T HELP IT! I WAS STARVING!"
Kakashi tapped at her shoulder and she looked up, tears running down her face with a little snot coming out of her nose. He thought that was cute. "Now sit down and dry up your tears. I'm fine with all of this. Besides you were starving. Um,"He was wondering how to do this without making her seem offended. "When was the last time you ate?" She tilt her head to one side as she thought. She had already wiped away the tears and snot. "Um, what time is it?"
He looked up at the sky to see the sun's postioning. "It's around 9:30."
She thought a little more and then she remembered. Her face lit up and she hit her fist on her palm. "I ate 30 minutes ago."
Kakashi's mouth dropped to the ground. "Then why are you starving?!"
"I have always had a bottomless pit of a stomach. Really, I'm surprised I never died on my trips. Ya know?"
Kakashi was thinking he was talking to a female Choji. Who knew a girl like that existed? "So, you just eat?"
"Yeah, my metabolizism is too fast for my liking but it eats up everything!" She smiled brightly at him and just shook his head. Her second bowl with everything was done. Her eyes grew huge like a child and took out her chopsticks. She began slurping up everything. He could have sworn if you blinked you wouldn't have seen it. Next thing they knew she was drinking the soup out of the bowl. When she was done she let out a huge sigh and gave the bowl to the man. "Thank you! That was delicious!" She smiled again and took out her wallet. "So how much?"
"200 yen"
She gave him the money plus a tip. He took it graciously and bowed as they left. Kakashi looked at the girl beside him and smiled warmly. She was definitly a walking talking proton. AN-I say proton because protons have a postivie force. end of conversation He hadn't seen that man smile like that in years. "So, you want to go to the Hokage now?" He saw a sparkle of intrest in her eye as she stared off in the distance and he knew that was a no.
"What's that!"
Kakashi looked up and saw the stone wall where the faces of previous Hokage of the village were carved into.
"That is a memorial to all the past Hokage's."
AN- I AM SO ******** EMBARRSED! I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT THING IS CALLED! -wails in dispair-
She looked at the third hokage's carving and frowned when she saw the huge crack in the middle of it. She tugged on his sleeve and pointed to it. "Why is that there?"
"The crack?"
She nodded her head. "We don't know. It happened when Orochimaru was fighting against our third Hokage."
"Oh, I see." She thought of something. "Tomorrow I'm going to ask the Hokage about that."
Kakashi couldn't help but be interested. "Um, what are you going to say?" She giggled. "Something." She walked off after that.
Soon the two found themselves walking underneath the moon. She didn't know the land of the village so she asked for a tour. Kakashi accepted because he wouldn't need to see Tsunade. 'Muahaha, no missions.'
She gasped and started bowing like crazy and apologizing. But as Kakashi always said 'What done is done.'. She still didn't like that so she decided that she would repay him for his kindness. He smiled inwardly. He wasn't called kind in anyway. No one ever told him that. She was a nice girl.
Soon they were at his house and she bowed to him again. They had agreed that they were to meet up the next morning at his house. She now knew the town so she was going to find him fine. They also passed the Hokage's house, but she hadn't notice. Neither did he. As she was walking away Kakashi just noticed that she probably doesn't even have a place here and knowing some of his colleges, that are bad drunks, will definitly pick her up. Feeling overprotective he called for her to come back. When she was in distance Kakashi motioned for her to follow him into his house. She cocked her head to one side. "I can stay?" He nodded. "For the night."
She jumped up and down and smiled at him. "Thank you!"
He nodded and walked in. She followed close behind and gasped. "Wow! You have a great house!" He looked around. He didn't know why she said that. There used clothes thrown everywhere, snack bags were skewned across the house. The living room was a disaster area and anywhere else in the house was a 'forget about trying to get through' stage. She just saw his look at her and she smiled. "Hehe, well I guess you do need a little cleaning up." She cocked her head to one side and she did her hand thing again. "I got it!"
She did a 'superman pose' and smiled victoriously. "NOW I KNOW WHAT TO DO!" He waited for her to continue. "I'LL CLEAN YOUR HOUSE!"
He nodded. "If thats what you want. I mean, good luck." She winked and she raised a finger. "I'm known as a miracle worker! Don't worry!"
Kakashi smiled. "Okay, I'll let you the next time we are free. 'Kay?"
She nodded. She went over to the sofa and pushed the sofa over so the stuff on it would fall to the floor. She smacked it a little to get some dust off and she fell onto it. She sighed happily. "You know, this is a really soft sofa." She just noticed what she was doing. She gasped her gasp again and she stood up. "That is, if I am allowed to sleep on it!" Kakashi chuckled. "Yeah, you can. I don't care. I really don't mind but I would like it if you slept in my room and I sleep on the couch. You are the guest."
"But it's because that I'm the guest that I want to sleep on the couch!" She insisted. Kakashi didn't know why but she seemed to remind him of a character from this one manga somthing basket.
"All right. He couldn't help but smile while was scurring around making the living room more...livable. After she was done she took one of the sofa pillows she unearthed and layed it down. She took off her robe and wrapped it around her not hesitating for a second to not show herself to Kakashi, to his displeasure. She smiled up to him, her eyes in perfect cresents. "G'night Whitey."
Kakashi's heart skipped a beat. He nodded and walked to his room. He closed the door and leaned against it. He didn't know why. But he had the most haunted thought that she was the girl in his dreams. He sighed deeply and opened the door. Looking out he saw her sleeping peacefully on his sofa and his heart was beating faster. She did look like her, the girl in his dreams. He walked back into his room, closd the door, stripped to his boxers and fell onto the untidy bed. He slipped himself into the covers and tried to erase the cold that was seeping in. As soon as he felt warmth he fell into a heavy sleep. That night was going to be rough on him again.
------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hi Whitey! What ya doing? Aren't you supposed to be in school right now? Isn't your father going to be mad at you?" He was bombarded by questions by the small girl squating down besides him. He was lying on the grass a little out of the village. He opened one eye, well he could only open one eye since the rest of his face was covered and looked at her impassivly. "To answer you, Hi, My hair is not white it's kinda silverish, I'm doing practically nothing, class was dismissed early because the teacher went to far and accidentally almost burned the whole building down again and I don't think father would be too mad about it because first it wasn't my fault or my decision and second because he's out on a mission again."
She stared at him. He sighed. He knew that stare, she was lost. "Um, uh, could you say the last part again?"
He rolled his eye. "Which part?"
"The part about the fire."
"I said class was dismissed early because a dumb teacher set the school on fire." Paused then continued. "Again."
"Oh,..." She put her hand to her mouth. Kakashi arched an eyebrow and she was shaking. Soon she was exploding in laughter. His eye softened. He liked hearing her laugh. She had tears coming out of her eyes and was holding her stomach, her body shaking with joy. Kakashi watched until it died down and she was wiping her tears away. "Hehe, who was this teacher Kakashi-san?"
He looked back up to the sky and tried to chuckle himself. "My sensi Yondamine."
She cracked up laughing. "The Hokage?! He must have been showing off to a lady."
Kakashi nodded. "He was. It was one of the other teachers there. It was sad comparing the fact that his 'flaming dragon-" Putting up his both his hands and doing the quote on quote signal to emphisize the flaming dragon."It went completely out of control and in the end I had to put it out with a water jutsu." Thinking of a joke.
Her eyes lit up immediately. "You learned water jutsu! Wow! You're amazing Kakashi-san!"
He lifted up a thumb up. "Yep its called 'Water Hose Jutsu.'"
She glared playfully and slapped his arm. "Haha, very funny."
His eye lifted into a smile. Next thing he knew she was next to him on the ground and was looking at the clouds with him. "Hehe, I think watching the clouds is doing something."
He laughed and she laughed too. AN- Don't you laugh when you are corrected? Well me and my friends do. So shut it.
Kakashi looked at the pretty, no, beautiful face besides him and gulped hard. He lowered his mask and raised a hand to turn her head to him. She looked over at him with a question on her tongue. "Kakashi, what are you-"
He kissed her.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kakashi woke up to his alarm again. He woke up and saw that he was kissing his pillow. His face twisted to disgust then into a sad smile as he pushed the pillow away. He sat up and streched on the bed to notice something wrong with his room. His mouth opened up and dropped to as low as it could get. He jumped up and put on his clothes quick not caring if he was doing it slopply. He opened up his door and rushed to the rest of the house. He finally stopped to the kitchen where he saw the girl washing the messy dishes that had piled up over the weeks in the sink.
"Um, hey."
She turned around and her face turned on to full happiness mode.
"GOOD MORNIN' SLEEPY HEAD!"
Kakashi's heart beat skipped when he heard but made the shock quickly disapper. He motioned to the house. "Um, why is everything.." He couldn't finish the sentence.
The girl looked at him. "Clean?"
He nodded.
She smiled brightly and went back to cleaning the dishes. "Because I told you I would repay you for your act of kindness to me." She finally seemed to be done with the dishes and went over to the stove where a pot was coooking. She lifted off the lid and the smell of miso soup filled the room. He watched in silence as she put down a spoon and dipped it into the soup. She brought it up to her lips, her full lips he noticed, and blew on it. She tasted it and she giggled and smiled at her creation. She turned around and smiled. "I hope you are hungry because breakfest is ready!"
His heart went to his throat. Breakfest? How was he supposed to eat while she was there with him! He couldn't pull his mask off! She set the bowl full of the soup and a spoon onto the table he just noticed he had and she walked back over to the stove starting it again with a frying pan this time. She took the pot and a pot stand and set it on the table in front of him and bowed slightly. "I'm going to be focusing on cooking the rest of your meal and cleaning the rest of the house which shouldn't be too hard. It's only the bathroom." She smiled. "So don't worry about eating in fear." His eye widen in surprise but she went back to scramble eggs and putting them into the frying pan. without flipping she started putting veggies with precision like she wanted it to be perfect. Soon she had a spatula and a plate ready. Soon the smell of an omelet wafted through the room and she put it on. She stayed there though. "Um..is your mask back on?"
Kakashi was surprised that she even asked. He thought that she was saying that promise before she could see him without his mask off and say it was an accident. He knew lots of other girls did. He said yes so she could come over, the omelet looked delicious and she bowed off. She then got cleaning supplies he didn't notice and walked off without another word or look. He pulled his mask down and started eating. Once he was done and completely full he looked up at the clock. The kids were going to kill him. He was an hour late. He wanted them to meet her but she also needed to see the hokage, he decided that two days late prior to the message shouldn't be that bad and besides..'I want her to meet the team.'
She came out of the bathroom some minutes later and she started walking to the kitchen but made sure that she wasn't looking in. She was about to say something but next thing she knew she ran into a stiff solid figure. She looked up and saw Kakashi looking at her with a arched eyebrow. She jumped up three feet off the ground and backed away bowing. "Sorry!" She looked up to make sure the mask was on and put on her never going away smile. "So? You done?"
"Yes, it was very delicious!"
She smiled at that. She took off her apron and he noticed that the cloak was still on. He arched an eyebrow. "You must really like that cloak."
She nodded. "Yep! Tsunade gave it too me!"
"Really?"
"Uh-huh! She and I always went out and had fun! Even if I was a bingo book holder!" She smiled charmingly.
Kakashi didn't get the last part but he smiled underneath his mask. "Okay, so would you like to go to training exercise with my teammates?"
"What?! OO! I'm allowed?!" She jumped up and down excitedly. "Wow! I have never seen a team train before!"
Kakashi nodded and he raised a finger that made her stop jumping. "You can also see Lady Tsunade after the training too!"
She practically jumped on him. "Thank you!"
The girl looked back and then thought about something.."You know..I don't think I ever told you about myself!" She gasped and looked back at him. "AND YOU!" She screamed loud. Making him jump.
She laughed. "Wow, I always get along with people I never think of their names, sorry!" She put her hand on her chest like she was declaring something. "I'm Katorin Watatigarasu! I am 25 years old!" She smiled brightly. "You can call me Raven, I really don't care. Everyone else does!" She put her finger on her lips to see if she forgot anything. "Oh! And I'm also a rogue kunoichi who was called here by Lady Tsunade, my long time friend, for some reason she wouldn't state!"
Time stopped.
