CHAPTER 6
Syrin could not believe it. The very man she wanted NOT to see was standing right before her. Great, she thought, just great. Just my luck. She forced a smile and stuck out her hand and said hello in the most brightly way possible. Kakashi, unsure on what to do, shook her hand and said hi back. Shina, seeing that this little presentation was going no where, made a move. "Hey Kakashi, Syrin here is gonna be in your department. I've already seen her profile and is perfect. Just perfect. Not one death when it was her doing the operation, just like you." She chuckled. "Well. Now the only problem is where to put you. We have an open office but it's not near the department you need to be in." Syrin looked puzzled and looked at her. "Wait...it matters? Where I came from it didn't." Shina smiled wickedly. "Think. This is Tokyo. The world calls us the city of the future....well when I look out that window, you wanna know what I see? Tokyo, the city that likes the word and action of murder. We need doctors ready for anything. Location is one of those ways to get ready." Syrin just nodded. Kakashi looked at her confused expresion and translated it all to her. "You see, people are getting themselves hurt almost everyday. We always have to be on the ready if anyone gets hurt. Even if we are in lunch break." Syrin confused look turned to recongnition. "Oo. I see." Kakashi smiled and nodded. Shina smiled to Syrin and Kakashi. "Look I would love to help but I need to do something finding her a space is all up to you now Kakashi. Good Luck." She left the office and Syrin and Kakashi were looking at each other for a split second until Kenya came and ruined everything. "She went into the room and asked all the people there to take off. When everyone was gone only Kakashi, Syrin and Kenya were left. Syrin just looked at Kenya, then at Kakashi then back. Her confused looked pissed Kenya off. "That includes you!" She grabbed her arm and pulled her toward the door. She was halfway there when Kakashi stepped in and pulled Syrin away. Syrin pretended to look helpless and just let Kakashi block her protectivly. Kenya stopped and turned around. "What?! I need to ask you a question but not while she is here!" Kakashi knew the question and the answer. There was no way he was going to go out with Kenya Moorin. "Sorry, but I need to show Syrin around and help her move in." Kenya was about to say something but Kakashi interrupted her. "NO. I must do this. Shina told me to." Kenya looked defeated but moved out of the way. Kakashi pushed Syrin out with her looking around like she really was confused and Kenya smoldering. When Kakashi closed the door on her he smiled at Syrin. "Wow. I didn't think that would have worked!" Syrin looked at him but he just shruged it off. "Follow me." He took her on a tour of the entire building, going from the ground floor up. After he was done he took her to his office and closed the door behind them. "Now." That was all he said he just kept on looking at her. Syrin caved under pressure and told him everything under one breath. "Look! I am a doctor! I used to work in a city not far from here; I was transfered here because Shina or someone liked my skills!! Please don't look like I wanted this!!!" She gasped and settled quietly. Kakashi started to laugh. "I know! God. I didn't think that you would give under preassure so quickly." Syrin made a pouty face, a cute pouty face as Kakashi pointed out. "Well, when I'm human I submit to many mortal quailties." Kakashi just smiled and went onto his computer. "Well lets see," After a few minutes. "There is only two open spaces left in the hospital and-" He got cut off by Syrin. "A room closed to you would be just dandy. Or Shina. Whichever one you can get." Kakashi looked at her. "What?! When I am mortal I also have the strength of a "somewhat" normal girl." Kakashi just kept looking at her. "Okay! I am probably stronger than those guys in wrestle mania or whatever. But not by much." Kakashi asked. "How much can you bench press when mortal?" Syrin answered. "365" Kakashi said. "You're stronger than anything. Don't deny it." Syrin asked. "So.....did you find a room?" Kakashi sighed and turned his monitor toward her. "Yeah. It's close to me too." She still waited expectedly. Kakashi waited too. Syrin looked around and back at him. "So...where is it?" He sighed and pointed at the number on the top of the screen. Syrin just kept on staring blankly. "Um...and where is that?" Kakashi smiled. "Now we get to the good part. This is the room that is right next to mine. Used to be the main office and this the secretary's office. They changed it though and now that extra room that is connected to this one is not used and is full of cobwebs." He arched an eyebrow. "Still want it?" Syrin smiled widely and came around to hug him. "Thank YOU!" She hugged him tightly. Kakashi face turned bright red when she was near him again. He smelled her soft frangrance and wanted to be in this hold forever, but as everyone knows, forever is impossible. She let go and went to the door on the far side of the room. She opened it, looked inside, and smiled even bigger. "This. IS. PERFECT! But it does need to get a nice clean." Kakashi smiled and put a hand on her shoulder. "I can help if you want." Syrin shook her head. "It's okay. I'm good. Tomorrow this place will be clean. Cleaner than yours even!" Kakashi smiled. "That's good. So you wanna see whats for lunch? It's break time and yours is with me." Syrin smiled back. "Sure! I would like a sasauge deep dish pizza with an extra large coke!" Kakashi laughed. "Yeah. Okay. We'll go over to the resturant across the street then."
