Crying Together

"Yachiru....." Elena bit her lip.
"Yeah?" She was still as bubbly as ever.
"Go get him...Get him away from Ichigo."
"Y-Yes ma'am." She looked away from Elena to retreive him.

Elena sat and held her head. "Please....Let him be okay...Let it be a lie....please be alive."
"Here he is!" Yachiru laid him onto the floor and stared at him.
"Is...Is he breathing?" she coughed. Her stomach was tieing in knots.
"Of course he is! He won! " Her smile lowered a little. "Ela-chan...Are you okay? Why aren't you looking at him?"
"Yachiru...How can you?" a tear went down her face.
"Well, It's because Kenny had alot of fun! Didn't you see it? This is the fight he promised you!"
Elena began to lift her head. She began to feel her way to him. She felt his arm next to her. The smell of blood burned her nostrals.

She looked at him. She couldn't hold it back anymore. The pain of seeing him that way killed her. The tears overflowed her face. She bent over to cover face. She put her hands over her head trying to get the sight of him out of her mind. She hated it.

"Yachiru?..." She heard is voice. It was so weak. It caused her to cry even more. She didn't scream her pain out like most people would but she couldn't hold back the sobs.
Yachiru drew her attention away from Elena and looked back at Kenpachi. "YAY! Kennys awake!"
"Yachiru....Where's Elena?...."
"Umm...She's right next to you." she pointed.

Kenpachi turned his head to see Elena knees and elbows on the ground. Her forhead was on the ground as well. From what he could tell, it looked like she was trying to turn invisible. But he could tell, his current state was what was bringing her pain.
"Ele..Elena...." He muttered weakly."I'm sorry...but I lost.."
Yachiru hit him. "You didn't lose! Ichi cheated! "
Kenpachi only smiled. "If only I could use my zompak-to to do that....heh..." he held what was left of his blade into the air. "Can you tell me....What is your name?"
There was complete silence.

"Yachiru..."
"Huh?"
"Do you remember...the day I found you?"
"Of course I do! I even remember how many clouds were in the sky!" she smiled. "You rescued me from being killed.And you gave me a name. You became my father." She looked at Elena with a smile. "And you have became my mother. Ela-chan!"
Elena closed her eyes. She knew he was going through memories for a reason. Her heart was breaking.

"Heh,..I guess not..."He turned back to Elena. "Elena....You've gotten so much stronger..."
"Don't say that." she whispered.
"Do you remeber the first time we met?...." He smiled.
She smirked a little bit. "It figures you would try to change the subject...." she chocked on her tears. "but...of course....How could I forget? You were the person I wanted to be...Strong....Fearless....I wanted to be like you...But I ended up being with you. You gave me strength...Kenpachi..."
"I was hoping you did...."He weakly smiled." You've changed so much sense then. The first time I saw you...i thought you were nothing but a weak fool...a coward destined to die...but i was wrong. You've came so far since then...you were even able to take my heart...And now look at us...i am the weak one...and your still getting stronger."

"Kenny..." she lifted her head a little just to look at him.
"Come here....I need you near right now." Kenpachi opened his arm leaving a space Elena could lay in. She nuzzled near him. Avoiding the gash on his arm.
He wrapped his arms around her. His blood was smearing across Elena's skin and clothes,but she didn't care. She wrapped her arm round him and used her other hand to put it on his face. She kissed his forhead and let another tear slid down her face.
She could taste his blood on her lips.

She felt something she never felt from him. His body began to tremble. She opened her teary eyes to see his eyes slamed shut adn tears gathering around the lids. His arms tightened around her. She felt like he was going to snap her into two but she didn't care. She was dumdstrucked by what she was seeing.
"I want to get stronger....I must be stronger!" He shouted as he sqeezed Elena.Elena sqeezed him back. It was such an emotion the two have never felt. And yet, Elena felt closer to him than anyother time. She kissed him again and brushed his tears away.

"Don't cry....Crying doesn't suit you. You too Yachiru."
Yachiru wiped away her tears and smiled. "Yes ma'am."
He smirked a little then brought his hand to Elena's face. "I love you...."
His eyes darkened then. She couldn't feel his breath. His arm felt heavy on her now.

Her eyes widened. "Kenny?...Kenny?!" She jumped up and began to shake him. "Kenny?! Quit playing around! Get up! Kenny!"
His body rolled over. Yachiru stepped closer and touch his arm.
"Kenny?...." She whispered
Elena's eyes overflowed with tears. Yachiru and Elena took a deep inhale. "KENNY!!!"

Their voices echoed through the Soul Society.

I actually teared up writting this...
But we all allready know he's till alive. *sighs in relief*
