So anyway, I had a very, erm "interesting" weekend. First, our band got to play in the stands of a football game for rookie night! It was fun but I nearly killed sammy. (Sammy is the name of my flute) I was watching the flag-twirly people and decided to turn sammy into a baton. Well, little did I know that the foot (bottom piece) was loose. i was twirling it really fast and the foot shot off and flew through a fence! Heh heh, I got it back though... sweatdrop

Too bad that the excitment didn't last. I had to go to my great aunt's 100th birthday party. Not fun. At ALL! We drove 4 hours to a HOTEL! Who has a party at a hotel??? All these old people sat around and talked. I must have heard about my growing abilities ninety-billion times. I got so bored that I decided to sketch. Unfortuantley, one of the ladies saw me drawing and made an effort to point it out to everyone she could find. Worst of all, it was a doodle for hornswaggle! >.<
How emabarasing! That night, I had to babysit my two little cousins, Jackson (age 7) and Via (age 4). They were loud, roudy, obnoxious, and worst of all, they think we're freinds! I had to eat with them while my parents talked about me behind my back! Even worse, my i-pod died so I actually had to listen to them! they are incredibly hyper! (they almost destroyed a $2,500 painting).
After I got sick of via clinging to my throat, I talked to one of my older adult cousins. Bad decision. She wanted to know if there were any cute guys in the band. Let's just say it was a very forced conversation. gonk

So we finally get back home on Sunday and guess what I had to do. HOMEWORK! I read half of To Spoil the Sun (180 pgs) that day and made 6 artifacts and decorated the bag. SOOOOOO not a good weekend! I get testing to look forward to all week as well. I hate 8th grade! We have way too much work!!!! If it weren't for my friends, I'd drop every one of my classes. I can't take much more of this! Will they ever give us a break!!!???? I want out! but i'll stay in for my freind's sake... emo
