So I went to the 12:15 AM showing of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince...totally wild!

Me, Shelby, and our moms got there at around 11:20, but the theater was ALREADY full! People had been lined up since 9:00 to get in! Well, I guess they don't call it opening day for nothing!

Moreover, all the people there were dressed up! Tons were wearing wizard robes and hats! Others had Hogwarts uniforms with Gryffindor ties and scarves. Some people were carrying wands and brooms, too. Alot had scars, glasses, and Harry Potter shirts. talk2hand

Some people were dressed like actual characters. We saw Harry, Hermione, Ron, Dobby, Hedwig, Snape, Tonks, Luna, and best of all, Hagrid. eek

While we were waiting for the movie to start, people were chanting and cheering. Then, these two guys stand up in the middle of the theater and have a wizards duel! rofl

The first guy yelled "Avada Kadavra!" and the second guy died! xp

That was funny! And when the movie was getting ready to start, everyone was counting down and cheering. During the previews, the entire theater would either cheer or boo based on the movie (Shorts got booed xd )

But when the movie came on, you could hear a pin drop. It was complete and totally silent. What a great audience!

That was probably the most fun I've ever had at a theater. The people were just so enthusiastic!

As for the movie itself, you'll have to watch it find out. wink
