Smells like Flowers


Days went by and many people came and visited Elena. Many flowers layed in her room. Kenpachi hated leaving her but when he returned would inhale the scent of flowers which as starting to absorb into Elena's skin.

Elena sneezed in her sleep which caused her to wake up. Kenpachi was sleeping next to her as usual so when her eyes slowly opened that was the first thing she saw. She stared at him and began to sob. She covered her face with her hands to calm her breathing. She took her hands off her face then looked at the calender on the wall. She had been asleep for four days. Her eyes looked down at him. "You didn't leave my side did you?" She sat up and ran her fingers through his hair.

She watched as both of his eyes began to open. She noticed he took off his eye patch. She had never seen the other eye. His eyes looked up at her then turned into suprise. He jumped up and sat on the bed. "Elena!" He exclamied befor hugging her.
"Kenny...." She whispered wrapping her arms around his waist."Kenny...I..."
"Don't say anything." He muttered. "I allready know."
She gripped his hyori in her hand."No...You don't..."
He closed his eyes. "Allright....tell me..."
"I'm sorry....I....was a fool...." she began to sob," You told me you loved me and I didn't believe you! Please forgive me!"

He ran his fingers through her brown black hair and shushed her. "Elena, Don't even point the blame to yourself. It was mine. I should have protected you from demons worst then I." His arms tightened around her back. "I promise...Elena. I will protect you,but....I have to ask you something."
She opened her teary eyes and looked at him. "Yeah?"
"Will....."he sighed, "Are you willing to follow me through the darkness.....for the rest of your life."
Her mouth opened. "what do you mean?"
"Do you love me enough to stay with me through the harsh storm of the after life?"
She gave a slight smile. "Yes Kenny...I will. Just to be with you." She nuzzled up to him.
He smiled and held her in his arms.

"Kenny..." She whispered. "I was so cold with out you."
He cringed. "Elena. You have no idea of the stress I went through."
She closed her eyes. "I'm sorry."
"I had to leave everynow and then and yet when i left i thought you might have had another heart attack."
"I know you suffered......i hate myself for it....i screwed everything up." she lowered her head.
"Elena, you are one of the best things that has ever happened to me.You are more important to me then my own life."
"Kenny...I still feel cold."
"What can I do to make you warmer?" He looked at her.
"...tell me how much you love me."She wispered.
He gave her the smile she adored.It was a smile of a evil madman but to her the smile only made her feel warm.Maybe even a little hot. "I love you more than the ultimate fight."
Her eyes widened to hear him say that. If there was one thing he loved more than anthing, it was a fight. "Do....Do you mean it?" She smiled.
"Why would I lie?"

She threw herself onto his scared lips. It was the most passionate kiss they ever had. His tounge slid over hers and she bit it which caused him to moan. Their teeth and tounge clashed as if they were fighting. But it was still lingered with a passion. She didn't bother to stop him from kissing back, and he didn't hesitate to keep kissing. His kiss lingered from her lips to around her jawline and back to her lips. He inhaled all he could of her floral scent. He shivered when he felt her hand rub over his chest muscle. He began to lay her back onto the bed which caused her to smile. He was starting to take her shirt off.

But their fun was cut short thanks to Ikkaku and Yumchika walking in. Everyone's faces turned red. Elena smiled. "Silly Kenny. He droped his bell over me" She lifted up a bell with a nervous smile.
"Sorry Ela-chan, your excuses don't work anymore." Yumichika smiled.
Ikkaku coughed then lifted his eyes. "Well, Its good everything is back to normal."
Elena smiled. " Oh yeah, Someone let Chi know I'm not upset at her."
Kenpachi got off her and lifted his eye. "How'd you know she was upset."
"Well, lets just say. Out of everyone's voices i remember, its hers crying. After all, I am her Autie! It only natural for me to truly worry about her."
"I see." Ikkaku sighed." I'll let her know."
"Thank you Ikkaku." She stood up from the bed and streched. She looked at her sleeves and then ripped them off. "Allright, you scumbags! Elena Shikru is back in action! Time to get back to training!"
Ikkaku and Yumichika stood straight in a salute kind of way and smiled. "Yes ma'am!"
They all left the room. Kenpachi followed behind with a big smile on his face. "That's my girl."
