Tears in the Rain

Yachiru ran into the woods alone. It started to rain after a while. the rain and tears made her pink hair stick to her face. After a while she triped and fell onto the muddy earth. She didn't other getting back up. She brought her knees to her chest and curled into a ball. She cried her heart out untill she began to fall asleep. He tired eyes saw into the darkness, the outline of a Captain's Hyori.

She woke up couple of hours later to see she was next to a fire. She looked up to see Kenpachi was there with her.
"Where are we?" She looked around.
"Theres no point in running in the rain. I decided to camp out here."
Yachiru's eyes traced next to him. She saw Elena laying next to him. Yachiru looked at the gound and sighed. Her mind began to race with old memories of her and Kenpachi. The memory that suckout the most was the first day they met.

"Kenny...."she began.
Kenpachi lifted his head to look at her.
"I..."
"Its allright. You don't have to say anything." He closed his eyes and sighed. "She was the first one to run out after you."
Yachiru's eyes widened to hear this.
" As soon as you ran out she ran out after you. I followed after a while. She screamed and screamed your name to come back. You should of seen her face, Yachiru."

"Yachiru!" Elena screamed at the top of her lungs.Her eyes were over flowing with tears.
Kenpachi looked at her face to see the most horrorfying face she had ever made. She was scared to death.
"Elena! Calm down!" He grabbed her shoulders and shook her.
"I cant!! This is all my fault! I have to make this right! We have to find her!" She shrieked. Elena then turned her head to see a pink speck in the distance."Yachiru?....YACHIRU!" SHe screamed running after her. She flew to her knees and picked up the frail child. She was shaking as much as Elena was. Both of them were covered in mud. Kenpachi sighed in releif finding her.

Elena held her close, her eyes hadn't closed yet. She kept whispereing. "I'm so sorry." over and over.
Kenpachi picked Elena up who was holding Yachiru he looked around for a place to hide out untill the rain ended. He saw a cave and and ran into it. From what he could feel, his girls where both shivering.

"And thats what happened." he sighed.
"So...your not the only one she cares about huh?" she looked at her with a sadened look on her face.
"She's not the only one I care about either." he smiled. "Yachiru, for all the time we have been together, you think one person was going to change the relationship we had? You are my daughter and nothing will change that."
Yachiru's eyes widened.Then a smile worked its way over her face. "Kenny,"She gigled ,"You sound weird saying that!"
He smiled to see his daughter turn back to her old self.
Elena smiled to hear Yachiru giggle. She wasn't sleeping anymore but she was faking it. Yachiru laid down next to Elena and cuddled up to her. "I'm so sorry Ela-chan." She whispered and kissed her cheek. Kenpachi rested his body against the ground and kept his hand up to rest his head. He watched his girls sleep throught the rain.

"This is all that matters in my life."He thought to himself. "The will to fight and become stronger, and them."
