Kenpachi was staring at the night sky again. Yachiru had been gone all day. So he had nothing better to do. His hair was down and his sword was leaning against the wall. He wasn't weraing his Captains Hyori. He was actually relaxing. Something he was never really able to do. Yachiru wasn't around. The men where all out drinking and Elena hadn't returned yet.
He closed his eyes and tried to recall the features of Elena's face. It had been two weeks and yet all he could rememeber about Elena's face was her eyes. Her blue green eyes that shined like saphires. He was also remembering what it was like to hold her. She was so warm in his arms,so small and frial. When he looked at her he could tell she was strong. She had some muscle but when he held her she felt soft a frail. Like she was a butterfly. If he was to hold on any tighter to her that day. She would have snapped like a twig.
"Elena!" He shouted. She was in the mouth of a hollow. His massive jaws were slowly closing on her. Her zompacku-to was thrown far away from her so she was trying to open the beast's mouth with only her hands and feet.
The monster's teeth dug into her hands and arms. She could barely breath because of the smell of the hollow's breath.
"Give up! You'll never get out on my mouth alive." The hollow growled.
"You think.....I'm just going to give up?" She smirked. She opened her eyes to see her captain."Captain! Cut it's jaw!" She shouted.
He smirked and pulled out his sword."Right." Heshunponext to the hollow and slashed part of the monster's jaw. The beast growled and thrashed. It was so occupied that Elena pushed his jaw so hard it flew off. Elena fell to the ground and backfliped to her zompacku-to. The hollow's tounge hung out of it's mouth.She grabed Oscuro and ran back to the hollow. She grabed his tounge with her other hand and shoved the sickle into the upper part of its mouth. Blood splirtted allover her face. The Hollow's body began to disapear.
She feel to the ground and breathed heavily. "Ow....my hands..."
Kenpachi walked next to her and smiled. "Just be greatfull they didn't fall off."
She smiled befor she passed out.
"Looks like I'm going to have to carry your stupid a**." He chuckled. He threw the blood off his blade and put it into it's sheath befor picking up her body.
He walked all the way back. He looked at her alot. He could feel her breath on his chest. It was actually soothing to him.
The only thing that bothered him that day was the smell of her. The hollow's breath and made her stink. He let out a chuckle befor he heard the front door open. He was sitting in his balcony again. He knew it was Yachiru.

Yachiru ran back into her room. Elena looked at Kenpachi's stairs. She took a big gulp befor making her way up the staircase. Her heart raced. She had missed him so much. Her hands began to sweat with each step she took.

Kenpachi heard someone coming up the stairs. He first thought that it was Yachiru ,but it was taking the person so long to get up the stairs. He took a quick glance at the stairs. He turned back around and looked at the stars. There was no reason for him to get worried. He could tell whoever it was they didn't want to fight. But there was a warm feeling in his heart that was sneeking up.

She stood at the top of the stairs and stared at him. She took a deep breath and walked behind him. "Captain. I'm home."
Kenpachi's eye widen with shock. He relaxed a bit then, he turned to see if it wasn't hismind playing tricks on him. It wasn't. His heart jumped to his throat. "Elena..."
Elena smiled but her face was pink. "I,...umm...." She was trying to sum up the words to tell him something. She was thinking back to the day she left. The slap was all she could think of. "um..."she shook her head."This was a mistake.I shouldn't of bothered you." She turned back to the door way and was about to walk out of the room. But suddenly she felt the hard grip of a hand around her wrist.
"Don't...." She heard his voice. "Don't go. Not yet." He didn't look at her.They were both facing opposite directions.
Elena's heart partically stoped. She turned around and looked at him. "What was this?" She was wondering. Her face was pink. She had to breathe to get the pink away. But it ws hard for her to. "This...feeling....It must be love." she wondered.
Suddenly the picture of him fell out of the bottom of her shirt. Kenpachi turned to see it fall faced up. He reached down to pick it up and look at it. Elena's face grew red and she tried to break free from his grasp. "Let me go."
"Where did you get this?" He asked is eyes were fixed on it.
"I got it from a woman in Zaraki." She lowered her head. " She....Told me all about you. After i met ehr, I decided to become a soul reaper. I allways wanted to work for you." Her face as red.
"I haven't seen that horrible place in years."He grew silent. He looked at her. Then pulled her down to the ground so hse would sit next to him.
He looked at the picture again and sighed. "I hated it there. I had no name and I envied everyone who had one. All i had to live for was the fight.Soon I met Yachiru, she had no name either. So I named her. She became my daughter. I even gave myself my name. Kenpachi was a name given to the strongest Shinigami. I claimed it. And i love it."He grew quite again. He didn't realize his hand was ontop of hers untill she wrapped her arms around her knees.
She smiled a little. "You know....Captain....Kenny. I have a confession." When i first met you. I was terrified of you. But then you called me a weakling. Then I hated you. Then i talked to that woman, she told me about you. Aftr that,I....admired you. You are the one who influenced me to fight. All I ever wanted to do was to prove myself worthy. Worthy of your attention." she blushed.
"Elena...'He mumbled. He looked away in embaressment."I..Have a confession as well ,Several."
"Yeah?" Se raised an eyebrow.
"Well, I wanted to tell you...I'm sorry.I shouldn't of yelled at you for showing your emotions."
"You know, When I was in the human world, "She smiled. "Urahara told me people who cry are stronger than those who don't."
"Is that so?" He smiled slightly.
"Yeah...." She looked at the night sky again and stared at the moon.
"Elena" he started again.
"Sir?"
"Remember the day we first met?"
"Yeah?What about it? "she smiled.
"Do you remember when you said you didn't want to go alone?"
"Yeah?" She cocked and eyebrow.
"Well, When you passed out...I ...I carried you to the soul society. I left you in front of the Shiba's door."
Her eyes widened.
"I know what it feels like, To be alone in the world, It's painful. It's worst than being stabed. So, I hope I left you with a happy family."
She was speechless for a while. Her heart thumpt in her chest. She could tell from looking at him his face was as red as her own.
"Kenny..."
He looked at her. He took a minute to examine everypart of her face. Elena brought up her and to trace his features with her finger tips. He closed his eyes and lifted his hand to feel hers. He droped the picture and took his other hand and pulled her close. Elena felt like she couldn't control herself. "Thank you....Thank you so much." She whispered into his ear. She rested her forhead against his. She could feel his breath on her lips. His hand lifted up to her face and pulled it down to his lips. Elena's eyes widened with shock then slowly she relaxed. She lifted her hands to wrap around his neck. His hand traced her jawline and his other hand pulled her in. Elena slipped her tounge into his mouth but it wasn't the best idea. He pushed her away and they both breathed heavily.
"What was that?" he breathed.
"It's called a french in the human world." She mumbled and brought a hand up to her lips. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be," He smiled her favorite smile." I liked it." He brought her in again and slid his tounge into her mouth.

Elena didn't have nightmares that night. All she had was dreams of him and her together. For once in her entire life, she felt....complete.
