Good Enough

Kenpachi had to go to a Captain's meeting to find a decent mission for Elena. It wasn't untill after four hours she recieved her mission.

He was to acompany on the mission.

They walked through the forest area for a while.
"So...Captain Zaraki?"
"Hmm?"
"What's the mission?"
"There's a Hollow running around here. You have to kill it."
"Well that sounds simple." She chuckled and put her hands behind her head.
His devilish grin worked it's way onto his face. "Sounds like it ,but there have been reports of the hollow. 10 Shinigami have been killed by it. 6 have been wounded by it. They never saw it coming."
"Really now?" Elena's eyes lit up. "Can't wait to see it."

Suddenly, as if Elena's remark taunted it. She could sense it's spirit preasure. She turned and looked for it.
"What's wroung?"
"You don't feel that?"
"No"
"Well, it's near."
He pulled his arms into his shirt and crossed them. "Well, I suggest you get started."
She grinned. "Yes, sir!" She pulled Oscuro into her hands and took her stance. Her eyes scanned the woods. Its as near. She could feel it. Goosebumps rose on the back of her neck. Anticipation was biting at her. "Goddamn it! Where are you?! You scared to fight me?!"She screamed.

That was when a tree was thrown at her. Elena backfliped to dodge it and turned around to see it. It wasn't there. "What?" She mumbled. The ground crumbled next to her. As if somethi slamed there. She jumped again just to see where she stood, fall apart. She landed back down and took a step back.

"What's wroung? Shinigami? You look worried."
"Heh, yeah right!"
The ground rumbled toward her. She jumped back up into the air but came back and landed on something invisable.
"Only cowards hide thier appearence!" She shouted as she swung her sickles into it's neck. she crouched her body and grabed the blades, and began to run down the invisible Hollow's back. A shriek from the beast came out as it began to vanish.

She fell onto the ground and landed on her feet. She swung her blades to take the blood off and placed them back onto her back.
"How was that? Captain?"
He smirked. "Not bad. How did you know it was invisible?"
"You don't see flying trees often, do you?"
He frowned.
She sighed and put her hands on her hips. "Sorry for using commen sense."
"Whatever, Smartass,lets go. I've seen enough."

They walked for sometime in silence. It drove Elena up the wall. The dead silence between the two was pissing her off. She had to end it.

"So...am I worthy?"
"Of?"
"Being in Division 11?"
He smirked.
To Elena it was a sign that she was.

"Elena."
It caught her off gaurd for him to say her name."S-Sir?"
"Do you drink?"
