Prologue

I woke up one day, never to think that an adventure waited outside, at my friend’s house. I never thought I wouldn’t regret it, but, at the same time, I would think back… This is my story. (Clueless aren’t ya?)

Chapter 1: The Beginning.

“Sarah! Wake up! It’s time for school!” A 15 year old girl with blonde hair and blue eyes woke up in her P J’s. She changed into her clothes- a T-shirt with a pink jacket which was a bit short on her sides and sleeves with jeans which were a bit too long. She was thin and in shape. “Coming mother!” She replied. She went down stairs to find her mother in a black dress with polka dots around her waist making breakfast. She had blonde hair too, and was in shape as well. (You could easily tell that they were related.) She was also wearing slippers. “Oh, good you’re awake.” She told her daughter. “Here is your lunch. Now don’t eat it BEFORE lunch. You remember what happened last time.” “…What the hell happened last time? Today’s the first day of school.” “Err…Really?” “Positive.” “You sure?” “Yes.” “Um… Don’t…you… have a boy to be stalking?” “Oh! Yeah! See you mom!” Sarah said as she stormed out the door. She was heading to her scheduled bus stop ‘Aw Crap! I forgot my summer reading book report at Ken’s house!’ Sarah then changed her route and turned to head toward Ken’s House. “I hope he’s running late too!’

“Hurry up Ken!” “I’m going as fast as I can! Aw crap! I just hit my door on my, leg! Jeez, it’s not my day… Aw damn! Not my arm! No, it’s not supposed to bend like that, Aw f*ck!” Ken said. Ken, a 15 year old spiky brown haired boy, wearing a green shirt with a red stripe at the bottom of it. He was also wearing blue jeans with a necklace with a ruby gem on it around his neck. He was trying to get ready for school but is, like Sarah, running late. “DING DONG!” The door said ringing. “Ken! Get the Damn door!” Ken’s mother said drunk as hell with a beer bottle in her hand. She was in her night shirt and had on pajama pants. She had black hair and was surprisingly fit for her bad habits. She also wore white, fluffy, bunny slippers. “Shut up mom! Jeez, I’m going…. Hello? Oh, its you Sarah.” Ken said answering the door.

Ken and Sarah have been best friends since preschool. They were always there for each other even when away for vacation; they called every night to see how the other one’s doing. “Hey, uh, do you have my report?” Sarah asked enticingly. “Uh, yeah, here….. Alright, I'm ready for school are you?” Ken said. “No, I’m sorry. I forgot to leave my backpack at home and I came for my report before school because I’m skipping.” Sarah said sarcastically. “Oh, ok, see you.” Ken said walking off. “I WAS JOKING!” Sarah yelled at Ken a bit ticked off. “I know, I know. Heh heh.” Ken replied to Sarah scratching his head smiling to her. They walked to the school bus stop.
