Chapter 4: The Black Figure Turned White.

“Dude, I’m so glad I’m out of there.” Ken said holding his legs panting from all of the limping. Sarah then slapped Ken so hard he flew a couple of inches and rolled a bit. He laid there. “I’m not a dude.” Sarah said paranoid. “GOD DAMN!” Ken said getting up and rubbing the hand print he had on his cheek. ‘What’s up with Sarah? She’s not usually like this I wonder… Wait! That black figure! I think he hypnotized Sarah! Let me think back exactly… “I couldn’t find what I’m here for but I’ll be back’ the figure then looked at Sarah in a hypnotic matter then jumped out the window.” Yeah… I think he did. I have to try to reach into her mind and free her. Sarah, Sarah.’ He then fell on the ground unconscious. “What the hell? Did I kill him? Oh, no… he’s just unconscious. I’ll just wait.

The inside of Sarah’s mind creeped Ken out a bit but, he knew he was the last hope for the Sarah he grew up with. The inside of Sarah’s mind was dark and hollow. The darkness was so dense he couldn’t even see his hand in front of his face. He looked around for anything that could hint him to the whereabouts of his best friend. “Sarah! Sarah! Where are you!?” Ken yelled desperately. He closed his eyes and listened carefully for an answer no matter how quiet it was yelled. “Help me! Help me! Ken I’m over here!” He opened up his eyes and ran into the direction of the voice. He would not stop running because he wasn’t sure how long he could stay in her mind. He ran so fast that he didn’t notice the hole on the ground. (Then again, how could have he seen it anyway?) “AAAAHHH!!!111!!!” Ken fell at least forty feet. He could see a room lit up as he fell. He almost hit the ground. “Oh, god! I’m gonna die I’m gonna die I’m gonna die I’m gonna die!” He stopped about an inch from the ground. Of course, he couldn’t tell because he covered his eyes with his arm and had a scared smile on his face. He opened his eyes and he saw he was floating. He went back to the air about 25 feet in the air. “Wow! I can flyyyy” He started to fall to the ground. He slammed backwards on to the hard rock surface. He got up and tried to stretch his back. “Man I must be lucky. My spine broke my fall.”

Ken tried to look for Sarah again. This time the entire room was lit. Ken couldn’t tell how it was possible for this room to be lit due to the fact that there was no fire, lamps, lights, nothing. He noticed that there were strange markings on the walls and it seemed that the hall lead to one path. He walked and followed the path. He was sure to go slow because he had to make sure that there were no more traps and deaths he had to heal from again. “Ken!?’ Sarah said tied to a pole on what seemed to be a throne room. “Sarah!? What are you doing up there?” Ken asked. “Hanging out.” Ken just stood there and gave Sarah a blank stare. “Hilarious…” “Look, just get me down.” As Ken walked up to Sarah a blinding light threw him away. “Billlaaarrgh!” As he landed, a boy that had white long hair and wore a blue vest with a green short sleeve shirt underneath. He also wore baggy black jeans stopped him by placing his foot on top of him. “Who are you?” Sarah yelled to the boy. “You can call me Jei.”

Ken got up and ran a couple feet away from Jei and turned to confront him. “Well, JEI! What are you doing here?” Ken asked “So, you figured out a way to break my spell huh?” “Who did who to what about the guy who what about who 2 days ago on spring morning?” Ken asked. “Too bad you won’t LIVE TO TALK ABOUT IT!” Jei started to run after Ken as fast as he could. Ken thought of a way to get him to stop. “Hey, hey, Sarah, I broke his spell.” Ken said talking about it (alive). “D’oh! Well you can’t say it to anyone else.” Jei replied slowing down. “Hey, mice, I broke his spell.” Ken said still talking about it (alive). “SHUT UP!” Jei said standing still annoyed. “Wait…you’re the black figure I saw in the window of my house aren’t you?” Ken said just realizing it. “Why, yes I am.” Jei replied with an evil smirk. “But you’re white.” Ken said confused. “What the f- What’s that got to do with anything?” “Dude, you can’t be white and evil at the same time.” “What about Ansem from Kingdom Hearts?” Jei asked trying to prove he was right. “He was tan, not white.” “What about those people from Mystic Hero’s?” “Pale, not white.” Ken replied. “Awww…” Jei said disappointed. “Now go to your room for trying to be something your not.” Ken said pointing to darkness. “Yes, sir.” Jei said slouched, heading to the darkness. “Wow, I can’t believe that work- OH MY GOD WE LEFT MY MOM ON THE GROUND UNCONCIOUS!!” Ken said just realizing it.
