That'd be Aarlone. She's a tough broad, and she won't go away. I'm not certain about her flesh tone, really, and I haven't added any highlights or shadows (as you well can see) but it's early yet.
So. Prozac Rat. Prozac Rat is the band that my big brother Mr. Dietr is 1/2 of. They're a really great group for being a sort of indie-college-rockers type of thing, because those type of groups are two a penny. They're influenced by a lot of different sounds. Spooncat! and They Might Be Giants, for instance.
One of their bits of space on the web (that lets you download 3 of their songs) has this to say:
Quote: Prozac Rat is an inventive duo from South Dakota. They care little about norms and even less about expectations. These men don't stop. Forming in 1997, Prozac Rat (Noah Daniel Smith: The Greatest Man On Earth and Mr. Dietr) has recorded multiple albums and has been expanding its sound in the realm of live performance. From acoustic ballads to hip-hop bluegrass; from mandolin to brass with the always present guitar or keyboard, you'll be hard-pressed to find a musical genre these boys have not violated at least once.
I'd have to say all that above is pretty accurate.
They've got a space on dmusic.com, and so you should be able to download some of their songs if you're so inclined. Jerome Bixby is high quality stuff, and so are the ones from The Chronicles of the Living Skeleton (hurrah for Bank Teller!) though I don't believe I've heard any of the others Mr. Dietr has put up. *downloads the songs herself* Nothing like a boy who's just trying to be as himself as possible - as hard as possible.
