I've decided that since everyone and his mother has some sort of a quest going on these days around Gaia, I should start one too, in order to make my experience more full. But there aren't any items that I'm specifically lusting after at the moment. What to do, what to do? So here's the deal.
I want Avatar Art!
The role I am most proud of here on Gaia is that of the Official Bard of the Irish Guild and Pub. As part of that role, I sing traditional Irish folksongs, tell Irish jokes, drink Irish alcohol, and generaly make merry. It's a good position.
So, more specifically, I want Avatar Art depicting lil' Addy here with musical instruments - preferably instruments associated with tradidtional Irish music, or other folk music instruments. Here are some things that I'd really really like:
Addy with bodhran
Addy with fiddle
Addy with pennywhistle
Addy with bagpipes
Addy with guitar
Addy with mandolin
Addy with banjo
Addy with ANY sort of alcoholic beverage in hand (because I AM Irish, after all)
For the moment, I'll be questing for specific Gaian artists that I've run across. So far, I've got my eye on commissioning three different folks:
MissEvalyn , Agent_Dax, and finally maiafay376
That's right - I'm commissioning them. I'm not asking them to donate their art to my quest, I'm looking for donations so's I can pay these folks fair and square for their hard work. If anyone happens to want to donate art, I'll rejoice and cry aloud with glee. If anyone wants to offer reduced rates for their art, I'll rejoice and cry aloud with glee. If anyone knows of other artists I should commission, I'll happily add them to my quest queue.
Furthermore, since it seems a popular thing to do, I'd like to give credit to any and all who make a contribution. Of course their names will go up here and on my official quest thread once it gets made (I need to get better organized with this thing, don't ya know). Furthermore, I intend to fiddle around with MS Paint, and see if I can't create a nice little bar setting with everyone that donates or draws something - so don't be surprised if I ask you to briefly pose your avatar in a certain way (so I can Paint in a frosty mug o' something in your hand!)
That seems to be nearly everything.
I am currently questing to commission maiafay376 for a Line art/body or torso shot/no shading, just a clean sketch. 3934/14,000
