{Chapter Two} {Haha I made a typo and it said Chapter Toe...does that mean it's about a toe? Anyways to the story!!!}

Kalzimar held Skull close as they walked through the dark forest. He looked around as they walked then, when Skull shuddered, he held her closer to him and put his arms around her so that she would know that she was protected. It was strange the way he was acting, but for some reason he felt as if he had owed her this much as a favor, it almost seemed to him as if Skull had done something in the past to save him. He shook his head in a way to shrug the oncoming memories away then he continued to walk with her. She rested her head on his chest then looked ahead of them with a blank expression on her face, her eyes wide and watery. Her face was blank as were her eyes, if you saw her from afar, you would have thought that she worked for somebody evil.

She gulped at the oncoming tears then she softly bit her bottom lip to keep herself from crying. She didn't want him to know of her weakness, she was afraid that she had revealed to much already. She had never allowed anybody to know what she was thinking, not after what had happened with the old doctor that she had let into her heart and thought of as a father. She had let him get so close to her heart and then he betrayed her which had put another gash into her already bleeding and parted heart. She learned early on in life that the world is a cruel place so you shouldn't try to make it any better, if you did that, then you would only end up in the rain with no umbrella with your face in the mud and cuts all over. She sighed out sadly then shuddered from the cold. Although they were in the forest, it was very windy and it was affecting her greatly. She hadn't expected it to be this cold. She began to chatter her teeth and shiver severely then Kalzimar took off his brown leather coat and put it on her shoulders "Here you go...I hope this helps." he said in a happy soft tone as she nodded then put her arms into the sleeves of the coat.

She looked at him with her seemingly fixed emotionless expression "Thank you." she said in a monotone voice. Her remembering about her past affected her greatly and made her want to shut out the rest of the world. She didn't even know why that happened, all she knew was that she had to find a way to stop all of the rememberance, to her it seemed as if somebody had given her the key for unlocking something important then she had subconsciously unlocked the doors for all of these things with this one key. She had always thought that all of the bad memories she had were kept locked up and they would never return again, but it seemed that she was breaking this promise to herself recently. Suddenly, she stopped walking and looked at the ground. She saw a ragged, torn up kitten doll, it reminded her of her own kitten doll, the one she had when she ran away. She lost it when she was in the forest area and now she thought that she found it again. Her eyes grew wide and she screamed then grabbed her head with both of her hands and fell to her knees as she began to have another flash back.

She remembered how she woke up at the bottom of the hill with her hair matted from the dried up blood. She had been looking at the stars and holding her kitten doll close to her chest when she heard somebody walking at the top of the hill with a flashlight. She had closed her eyes and breathed shallowly hoping that this would help her not to be noticed then she waited for whoever this person was to pass her by, but they didn't. Instead, they had screamed then slowly ran down the hill, heading straight toward her. She had opened her eyes then frozen from fear as this person had finally reached the bottom of the hill. He stared at her for a moment then chuckled almost synically. She began to breathe raggedly then tears had began to run down her face. She remembered how the man had grabbed her right arm tightly with his hand then he had pulled her up "What're you doing in a place like this?" he had asked her. She had screamed then cried even more and looked at him sadly "Please don't hurt me...please..." she had said pleadingly. He had chuckled then shook his head "I'm not here to hurt you...I'm here to...rescue you." he had said that last part kind of sarcastically. She had believed him though because she trusted everybody at the time and so she got up with him and smiled as she held her kitty doll closer with her left arm. The man pulled her up the hill then smiled and pointed to a white limo "Go in there, you'll be safe, I promise." he had said considerably. She nodded then had gotten into the limo and sat in the seat that was closest to the door.

The man had punched the car then the driver chuckled and drove away with her. She had sighed out then shook her head and looked around the limo "NIce..." she said quietly. It had a television in it and it had a mini fridge too. She opened the fridge and found sodas then gasped and took one out then drank it. When she finished it, she threw the can out of the window and smiled. This was bringing her self esteem up greatly, and now she felt as if she really did belong somewhere in the world. She chuckled then looked out of the window again and gasped as she saw that they were driving down a road that was seperated from the rest of the town. It was heading towards a huge castle on the big hill that they had thought to be abandoned. Apparently everybody had been wrong about it. Her eyes watered then she sighed out and awaited her next doom. It seemed to her like forever before they reached the castle then she screamed as they stopped. She locked the doors then sighed out thinking that she was safe, but somebody unlocked them then opened the door and pulled her out "You're a new slave...girls like you are good for nothing else in this world." the driver had told her. She had nodded then followed him into the castle then they headed for a huge room. She wasn't paying any attention, so she didn't know where they were going or how they got there. It was as if one second they had gone into the castle then the next second they were in a huge chamber room. The limo driver had smiled then put a collar onto her "If you ever run away, I can find you." he had said calmly before he threw her on the ground and put a wet rag into her hand. He chuckled then left and she had sighed out "I suppose I'm supposed to clean this huge room..." she said before she shook her head then slowly began to clean. An hour later, another girl that was just like her was pushed into the room as well "Clean!" the man screamed at her before she nodded and began to clean. Skull looked at the new girl that was cleaning beside her then she sighed out "Hello..." she had said calmly and in a quiet voice. The girl continued to clean as tears ran down her cheeks then she looked at Skull and nodded then continued to clean as she cried. She wouldn't admit it, but she was scared to death as was Skull. Skull had looked at the girl then sighed out and shook her head "I'm here to help you...don't worry." she had said calmly. The girl had nodded then put the rag into the bucket of ice cold water.

Skull screamed as Kalzimar picked her up and held her close to him and again she was brought back into the present time. She cried more then looked at Kalzimar and shook her head "No...put me down...leave me alone...you're only going to hurt me!" she screamed as she tried to punch him. He gasped then shook his head and held her closer "SKull...no...stop it!" he screamed as she tried to kick him. She screamed again then wriggled out of his arms and ran away from him sadly "Leave me alone...everybody needs to leave me alone!!" she screamed as she ran away from Kalzimar getting further into the dark forest. Kalzimar reached for her then two seconds later chased after her "Wait!" he screamed before Skull twisted her foot on the root of an ancient tree. She screamed "I THINK I BROKE MY FOOT!!"
