I really love this song.
It's because the singer.. Is inherently evil, I think. She's trapped this kid in a dark place, and loves watching it cry.
But then, she hopes that this kid can get out of this cage she's put it in; won't help the kid, but urges it to reach for the sun anyway.
The kid doesn't care that it should be in the sun, and the singer likes having her grasp around the kid.
I don't know. It's like some weird mom concept. Like those moms that have that illness where they make thier kids sick just to heal them, but then keep poisoning them to make them sick again.
Well, that's what I think, anyway.
I could be wrong.
But this song is deep. Means a lot.
Regardless if I'm getting it or not.
