Gone is where you are
If only you weren't so far
The pain keeps coming
Yet I'll mean nothing

I don't need the world to know
It'll make it harder for me to go
All because of you
Not dying is what I choose

I hate to make you sad
I'm sorry for the past I had
It's ok to try and make it better
As long as I have you for shelter

But you're not by my side
I sit with tears I cannot hide
The blood falling away from my bone
Without you, I'm alone

It's just so hard to sleep
And I just feel so weak
But the nightmares form
I wait for you within this storm

The days don't pass
When the seconds always last
I count the hours without you
It's all I can do

The air is so cold in the night
Darkness removed my sight
So I fear I won't see your face
When you finally come back to this place

If you don't come back at all
I know I'll silently fall
I can't erase that thought
Or the tears it brought

I can only hope you're not dead
But I lay alone in this bed
The cold creeps in on me
I freeze and cannot breathe

Without your warm touch
Nothing will mean much
Everything fading away
Alone, here I lay
