another poem i wrote

what if i told you
i wanted to die
would you let the tear escape
the cage that is your eye
what if i told you
i was about to die
would you let a thousand tears fall
or just a sigh
what if
i died
would you cry your heart out
until you died
would you visit my grave
day after day
or pass me by
never to look where i lay
i don't want you to hurt
because i'm in pain
i just want you to remember
the letters that made my name
