Meh, maybe I'm in over my head..but maybe I just need to study... prolly the study... at any rate...

I made two handmade bracelets with beads and waxed linen thread. Now people want me to make 'em for them. I thought they looked bad...

Also, I feel like I am now a true potter. I got my very first comission today. Now, by comission I do NOT mean a friend specifying something for me to make him or her. I'm talking about... pay. So, I'm getting $10 to make a simple jar with a lid. It's a teacher in my school...asking for one of the students to make something for her.. so the ceramics teacher asks me. Why me? I have no idea. probably because i'm his teacher aid, but whatever.

So, on to the poem of the day, eh? It'll be another on the spot one. I'm in a fairly good mood right now...AND the sunset was incredible. So, me being weird me created a, uhm, well, creator of sunsets.

I catch a glimpse
through a window
~expecting to see
~steel gray-blue sky
~setting dark
~fading mute yellow
~sun glancing the sky
you brought a touch of colour
here and there
~did you want me to smile?
~did you create it to please me?
~did you know how much it hurts?
~did you know i loved sunsets?
~did you know my heart so well?
entrancing beauty entrapping
my soul in chaotic colour
~i cannot escape
~but i want to stay
~wrapped in your arms
~tasting sweet forever
~trapped in an instant
i begin to talk to you...
because you're listening
~the colours spark brighter
~fire to dance up
~a glimpse of intense forever
~drawing me back again
~your creation amazes
heart wrenches and stops only
to beat again to your flying colours
~teach me to live, to fly among your clouds
~it's your creation with heaven's
~touch and your love
~to encompass me, remind me
~i'm still needed here...

hmm...this entry was done in under 13 minutes...i know because i wrote it with Figure 8 playing. WONDERFUL song, by the way.
