We live in sorrow and sadness
Blinded by fear
Confused by what's fake
Or what's here
Dying in the truth
Or living in someone's lie
Pushed around for pleasure
As we sit and cry
Looking to the night
Finding new life
As we learn real pain
That cuts like a knife
Thinking everything's lost
And ready to quit
Learning how to love
The dark tunnel is lit
