I've got the SATs tomorrow and it'll be my first time taking them. I took a practice test today and as I'd expected, I scored highest on the writing section and lowest on the math section. xp But I also learned that most of the time I get things wrong because I skimmed over something and didn't read the answers close enough. I also need to start using the numbers in the answers for the math section. My AP Stats teacher's been helping me whenever I ask him for help on a question. Typically they're all hard questions, but I think it wouldn't hurt to get a few right. I'll probably have 5-8ish minutes left so I'll pick out a few hard questions at the end to focus on and hopefully I'll get one or two right for some extra points.
I also learned that I need to stop being so nitpicky on the answers in the writing section. I couldn't find an answer for one because one didn't have a comma where I wanted on and the other had "in addition" awkwardly placed at the end, yet everything else was fine. And I got another one wrong because I made it sound all formal instead of the answer's use of the second person, which I still say is just wrong. My answer was absolutely right, dammit!
Well, I won't have James on in the morning to talk to so I can calm down before the test. Well...he could be online, but he practically ordered me to sleep in tomorrow. xd
If I keep myself calm, I think I'll do fine.
