Mike: I don't understand why you guys just don't take a plate back there and put a bunch of the cookies on it rather than taking out a tray of cookies at a time.
Kiri: Well, I did that once and Chris said it was bad.
Mike: ...Why?
Kiri: I don't know. Probably because it didn't look too great having a plate of cookies on the counter behind the register while I had to go seat someone.
Mike: Well that's why you hurry up.
Kiri: But seating people is my job.
Mike: Well, yeah...
Kiri: *throws a piece of paper at him and walks off triumphantly*
Mike: Gah, I will kill her face!

I just stood next to them laughing the whole time.

Whitney: Go put away the ketchup for me, Mike.
Mike: You don't own me!!
Whitney: Don't make me put my foot down!
Mike: Uh-huh, I'll put my other foot down!

Kiri and I have noticed we only joke around with Mike and Amy; probably because they're freaking amazing. It's weird when you goof off around the other managers. Mike's just hilarious and Amy is incredibly nice.

Kiri's rereading New Moon, the most depressing book in the Twilight series so far, in my opinion. She brought it to work to read while on break, so when I was on break I started reading it too and I skipped to the first sad part and I nearly cried at work even though I've already read it. It's so depressing. gonk Kiri and I were talking about all the stuff Bella does--the dangerous s**t she does just so she can hear Edward in her head screaming at her to stop because that's the only way she can hear his voice. We'd do that too. emo

We've also decided that Jocey is so much like Alice if I were Bella. She's always like, "Try that dress on. NOW." and picking things out for Bella to wear. Hell, one time she kidnaps Bella (with Bella's dad's permission) and Bella's like, "Well, at least let me go home to get my stuff" and Alice is like, "Oh don't worry, I already paid a visit to your house and got everything. mrgreen "
