The Day of Silence went along pretty smoothly and we had a good number of supporters. There were a lot of participants within the county that went to the park for our breaking the silence event. It was a lot of fun. We ran around and went on the swings and went on the spinny thing that I can't remember the name of. (I'm that tired. xp ) I felt sick after riding it and I had to lie down, but I felt better by the time I had to go to work, even though I was pretty much exhausted the whole time.
And I found out that someone stole some money from the register earlier in the week, so they're REALLY strict about leaving the cash drawers unattended now. I got my own card for opening the register and I was only allowed to use it (other than the managers) and I had to sign off the register whenever I was finished. (Because you can only get stuff from the register when it's signed on, and you need the card to do that.)
Kiri and I are planning on making Hope get a job as a hostess with us.
And I learned how to do some more to-go order stuff. Although I feel bad because I forgot to take off 10% from the guy's order (since the hotel he was staying at is an affiliate of ours), but he didn't seem to mind... >_>
Well, I'm working tomorrow and Sunday morning too. Fun stuff. And I have basically the same hours next week too.
