What would the wise one say
If she could lay her eyes on me today?
Though this heart keeps beating
Though this heart keeps needing
I wonder at the mention of her, my mother's name
I wonder; if they knew, would they be the same?
Unfourtunatly they don't and continue down a reckless path
One that I avoid because I couldn't live like that
If only they could have seen her, even just once
I bet they would have given her many a chance
She was happy and she was free
She was all that was put into me
My heart wonders if she'll ever come back
My head says no, so I lock away my memories behind a door which is black
