The King of Fighters 2010

The Invitation

"Come on, come on! DAMN! Fifth consecutive loss to Athena, why can't I ever use Ralf any better." Ask a 20 year old man to his television screen. Five losses to a game's AI, he had never felt humiliation like it, and he wondered why he cared. He turned his PlayStation off, and walked into bathroom. After splashing cold water on his face he stared into the mirror, he had what most women called a hansom face with a cool goatee, and smart looking glasses. He looked into the mirror for a few minutes daydreaming about being superhuman, or just being able to do martial arts. He didn't do too well in sports, and never had the talent of fighting like his brother.
"Just another boring day in the dorms." He mumbled, and walked into the kitchen. Opening the door to the refrigerator a letter was attached to one of the shelves.

"Hey Izayoi-kun,
Don't touch to sushi! My mother made it for me. I'll be back after my classes.

Suzu-chan"

"Why does she call me by my real name? Quit making fun of my name." Izayoi sadly mumbled at the paper. His parents thought they were getting a girl, and had named him Izayoi. When they had found out he was a boy, they had enough sense of humor to keep the name, and being from America not knowing that it was a females name, it stayed. Izayoi heard the dorm room door open, and quickly closed the refrigerator.(He had been eying the sushi.)
"Suzu-chan is that you?"
"Yes its me, did you eat my sushi? I know you like it a lot." She asked walking in the kitchen, and placing her backpack on the table.
"No, I almost did though." Izayoi joked with a cheesy smile.
"Yeah yeah. This came in the mail for you." Suzu handed over a some what large white envelope. It had his address, but no sender. Who would want to send him mail without me knowing who it is? He slid his finger under the slip, and pulled out a piece of paper. It was a greeting card with the cover art for the new King of Fighters game on it. He opened the card, and it read;

Dear Mr. Izayoi Cambrie,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been invited to participate in this years King of Fighters tournament. We know your previous fighting records(2-29), and have found a way for "physically challenged" competitors to perform equally if not better than the other participants. Your Mental abilities exceeded our expectations, and have granted you this invitation. You cannot refuse this invitation after opening the envelope this card was within. One of our contacts will come to pick you up on Wednesday.

Okay well for now that does it....My eyes hurt from looking at the screen, stay tuned for another episode of....The King of Fighters 2010!!!
