Gargoyle smiled half-heartedly at his skeletal friend, he had heard him answer that question with the very same response many times before. " Jack, you certainly are the jumpy one tonight. Don't forget that our clan member is now at this very moment getting herself signed into the book. " As he spoke it was true that their newest member to the Pumpkin Clan was being signed into the book, but within the confides of Gargoyle's mind there lied a secret that was left untouched...just waiting to be found. " Heh..Our new kid sure has many scars on her ....in the soul and upon the body. I sense such a great weight left unbound from her within, she's gonna be a dark one no doubt about that. " With his thoughts rattling on inside his head, Gargoyle looked up at the dark ominious sky above them, blanketing their world in a dreary embrace. " Its going to storm. "

" Hmm...? Really G-man?" Jack asked while turning his head around a 360' angle.
"Huh? Storm? Are you telling me that it rains here?" Yusuke added in, his eyes round with curiousity. " I had no idea....

"Yup, 'cept, we don't get rain. We get storms ...BAD ones." The light in his eyes darkened ever so slightly as he spoke, Jack walked ahead of his friend and stood looking up at the sky. " Yea, its gonna be a good one allright. I betcha there will be tons of DEATH BEAMS too!! " Throwing his arms into the air, Jack let out a roarous sream of joyous laughter. " WHOO! And there will be LOTS of howling winds, and fire shooters from the great bad place in the sky and-"

"Jack. Stop, please.." Holding back his own laughter, Gargoyle stopped his friend from continuing on with his tale of great doom. He could tell already that the detectives weren't looking as exited as Jack was.
Only those who have taken in the delights and horrors of this world we call the Land of Tormented Souls, knew anything about the great storms that shot through the tranquility of day or night with its light that pierced through the clouds and the wind that sliced through the earth..making the land bleed.

"So, Gargoyle..how long until this storm hits? " Kurama asked, his eyes flashing with confusion, the thirst to understand thick in his voice.

"YEA! Whats gonna happen? S-Should we hide under something..? Like maybe a tree or-" Kuwabara added in nervously, his legs quivering with what he calls,
" anticipation".
