Chronicles of the Lost Thought:
Moonflower Pt. 2
Moonflower Pt. 2
"Don't leave yet - the moonflower will bloom tonight."
I looked outside the open windows, from the left, right... nothing special - same old garden. As if I knew what a moonflower actually looks like.
She might have been the one who typed it. Afterall, who else could've made into my room unnoticed. Then again, she made her way intomy room always noticed. She likes it that way. I, like it that way. It was her way of making me know she's already there, and my way for her to feel appreciated.
I closed the app and continued flushing in the computer. It was nearing time once more.
If it was she who typed the message then why not just say it to me?
A girl's mind is a really difficult thing to comprehend. Sometimes you just see through her as transparent as glass, sometimes as murky as mud. This trivial matters are better put aside than be thought about.
I threw the thought off and, after seeing the black screen flash off my screen I turned to my bed now.
I remember we used to say goodnight to each other, me and my very close friend, before going to sleep. It wasn't a possible thing right now - my friend's still away from vacation - the goodnight wishes part will just have to wait.
I slowly turned away from the computer. Seriously, it wasn't the same thing when you get sent off to bed by another than just by yourself. Like the difference of a gift given to you by yourself against something given by others.
The last screen closes, all the room suddenly engorged in darkness. I slip now to the edges of my bed then suddenly, thin graceful hands quickly move in and hovered over my eye, pulling, clasping it to a complete veil of darkness. "Guess who?"
A smile crept over my face. She really was the one who left the message.
"There's a nice surprise I want to show you... Are you ready?"
