The DeVars Chronicles
This is something that would mess up my schedule or turn things another way around - keep me busy for a while.
Chronicles of the Lost Thought:
Mirror of Twilight p5: Longing

In this quiet night, I'm waiting for you
During that time, your smile has faded away
Now that a little time has passed,
Fond memories start to resurface.

The voice echoed to deVars head. It was reason more than words and reason transgresses all possibilities. The words soon follow and started hammering down the thick paned glass of the window of twilight.

At the place where stars fall,
I'm always wishing for your laughter.
Even though we're apart now
We can meet again, right?

The place where stars fall. . . the place where they knew each other - in the quiet night. The time, one and only, did the girl first shown herself to him, made her known, made her linger. . . made her be. It was the time where things started. And the time that the thought made his own way.

From when has my smile faded this much
Since it was shattered by one mistake
Change only the precious things into light and
Go beyond the sky with strength and go on.

And then sadness. . . the smooth shiny surface of the mirror slowly cracked, deep engravements seed in and made irregular markings on it's flawlessness, giving space in and shattering old spells that keep the mirror in bound. What is this power? Is this from the boy itself? Able to dispel ancient spells with just. . . the song. . .

To the place where stars fall,
I want my thoughts to reach you.
I am always by your side
Since I will embrace that coldness.
Even though we're apart now,
We will definitely be back together.

The song echoes forth in both dimensions - the narrowing of night and the passing of day. It moves out waves of dreams and pushes feelings - throbbing hearts. Reality seems to pass by the two people in the quiet room.

It has been a while since she had held his head across her lap. deVars hadn't been sleeping so well the past hours, his face winces once in a while and oft he turned and moved about.

In the quiet night, the girl holds on to the sleeping deVars' head on her lap, singing the song with her small voice, out to the moonlight, out to the quiet room. Wishing deVars to come back. . .

In the quiet night...
