What I've Learned: Demons |

What many people don’t realize is that they can learn many things from fiction. Such as, how to protect yourself against the supernatural, in this case demons. Here are some of the things that I’ve learned from TV shows, movies, and video games about them.
Demons:
Holy Water hurts and repels some demons, although not all.
Iron can repel, contain and hurt demons. It is supposedly more effective when it’s cold iron, which is pure iron that is not smelted out of ore, but hammered pure without melting.
Salt can protect you against demons. To do that you must form a ring of salt around the room to prevent them from entering. Or you can just salt the doors and windows of a room or a house to also prevent then from getting in. It could also be used to trap demons if you manage to surround them with salt.
Crosses and rosaries that are bless can protect you against them.
Find a special gun called The Colt, it was forge to have the ability to kill nearly any supernatural being, especially demons. Make sure to use it properly by doing kill shots, such as to the head or to the heart. That will permanently get rid of demons or whatever else monster.
To prevent demons from ever taking possession of your body, you can wear a anti-possession symbol necklace (or some sort of jewelry with the symbol) or tattoo the symbol onto your body.
Devil’s trap is a symbol used to trap demons. It is similar to a circle of salt but more powerful and less likely to be broken. It can also prevent demons from entering if the symbol is drawn at the entrances.
Exorcism always works for getting rid of demons.
There is a knife without a name and of unknown origin that’s capable of killing demons. It might not kill the more powerful demons but it will certainly cause them pain if used on them. It looks like a ordinary hunting knife with a curved, serrated-edged blade and wooden handle. However, upon closer inspection, there are symbols engraved along the blade.
Holy Shotgun is a gun constructed out of Holy Relics and covered with engravings and religious symbols. It’s another useful weapon that can destroy demons.
Bagua Mirror which originated in China, is a popular symbol in Feng shui. By placing one above the entrance to your main door, you are welcoming harmony and creating good fortune for all those that enter. But aside from bringing good energy to your home, it also deflects all negative energy back to wherever and whoever it came from. It wards off evil entities and demons from entering your home.
Churches are safe havens from demons but only against the weaker ones. There have been cases where the more powerful demons are still able to enter them without a problem.
Chung Kwei amulet is for protection, consisting of an image of Chung Kwei. He is famed as an exorcist and is very ominous towards evil spirits. Having this amulet protects you against demons, wandering spirits and intangible influences that don’t mean you well.
Praying helps. It can be a prayer for protection against evil, such as demons. Even a prayer for protecting your home from them can keep them from entering. As long as you believe in the prayer and have faith it’ll be effective.
Hamaya arrows, is “demon-breaking arrow”. It destroys evil demons, repels misfortune and it attracts good luck. They are sold at Shinto shrines only during the first days of the year.
Having jade is consider a lucky stone and it repels evil spirits and demon.
