This is your life at the moment.
This is the life of everyone you meet.
People you pass on the corner, to afraid to speak.
The little girl with the bruises only she can see.
Every heart beats like a drum.
A boy write a poem in the back of the class
He hates it so much and he tears it up fast,
or try's to, but somehow he cant.
he heard a song today;
of a girl who writes down her songs with a slant.
She recites it again and again like a chant.
Someday, she wishes she could grant,
Someone the strength to move on with there life
Mend there heart that knows the songs of life.
So she sings
Her poetry out loud to a room that will listen,
and maybe someday soon Music will stream her love through there heart too.
