What brought you here?Mother…and father…They told me it would be good to go, because…all youths my age were starting to go ashore. They didn’t want that…They wanted me to…remember my second skin for as long as I lived. I like my skin, and I love my kind. Geir, before he went ashore, was going to be my mate. Then Viola, my friend, she went ashore too. No reason to remain…when all mates leave. Mum found recruiter, nice person, and they brought me to Aether. It floats in the sea...I think I probably saw it once...but I can't remember.
Oh...hold on...getting drowsy.
Never have I spent so much time without my skin. I feel…naked even though I am clothed.
Still, I know that, Aether is good, I believe my parents. I just hope I don't fall asleep in too many classes, or in the halls, or at breakfast...
I've been here a few years now, and I almost like it more than home. I'm close to the ocean, can always smell the brine, there are other ocean creatures here. I fall asleep in my classes pretty frequently, but the teachers usually are good about it. Except Professor Eligor and Professor Nox...Still, I love it here...almost as much as home. I just miss the others, especially Geir.
I usually take some caffeine pills in order to stay awake during classes. I know you were wondering...

What do you like?
+The sea…swimming…Though the warm waters can be uncomfortable. I prefer the cold. Its…simply in my nature to take long swims. At least once a day.
+Children…Children are blameless, they play in the waves for fun…Not to catch fish or pollute the waters. I keep them safe. I do not let them drown, or be harmed by others. They are safe in my care. I want pups some day, but watching and caring for other young'uns works for now.
+Drawing….I used to do it in the sands under the waves but…the current always washed away my pictures. So…I draw on paper now. I draw what I see…and I draw my home…
+Merrow and mermaids…I’ve made many friends with them…throughout my life.
+Brandy...Umm...Please don't laugh. I like the drink...in small doses.
+Geeky kids...Shy boys and girls who aren't accustomed so such things as romance. I find them adorable, and fun to tease. I swear, a blushing boy will steal my heart one day.

Not so much...
+Stoicism...You're not really all that tough, you know, and acting like you have no weaknesses only tempts me to find them. I would be careful, were I you. I will never shed a drop of your blood, but I will find what frightens you.
+Finfolk…They’re not…nice people….scare my kind…hurt my people…
+Losing my skin…I go berserk when I can’t find it. Well…I get twitchy. I don’t sleep…Bad sea weather, wherever I am.
+Heat…Sunny days especially. I don’t do well in hot weather….
+Falling Asleep….I sleep in weird places…the narcolepsy thing.

Powers:
+Most of what you see is me using my sealskin to change into a seal, a human, or a half-form.
+However I can also bring in clouds of fog, so long as I am in, or have a steady source of water around me. This includes humidity in the air.
I honestly don't know of any other abilities I might have. I guess I might learn some along the way.
