Rose: Priorities
Rose remembered a few specific things. She remembered going to Kaku's house with some kitsunes to Heal a Nobody. She remembered that the Healing pulled out a monster, that the Nobody somehow dispatched. And then she remembered having to pull the Nobody, as he seemed to be trying to slip away. She pulled so hard, that while she wasn't sure she was the one that turned the tide, when he stopped slipping away, it almost pulled Rose into the light. Almost.
Instead, she remembers passing out. And now, waking.
She wasn't sure all what had passed, not really. But some things were odd. Changed. When she woke up finally, she felt as if a real significant amount of time had passed. Kyrre was sleeping on the floor next to her bed. She was in a bed; that too was odd. And the sun was rising. It had been late morning when she had come over, and Rose, with her recently learned talents dealing with earthen ways, could tell it wasn't simply the next day, but the one after that. She could tell by the difference in the season, somehow.
Rose got up slowly- she felt achy all over. Kyrre didn't stir, so she felt good about that. She magicked herself into a more comfy set of clothes, and tried to sneak out of the room. It worked in the sense that Kyrre didn't get up, but as soon as she opened the door, she knew it wasn't going to be like the old normal. Because the kitsune gaurds who had come with her were awake, and outside that door. And followed her as she moved silently through the house. It was only just about sunrise, so she doubted too many people would be up. She found the kitchen, but when she walked in, there was broken glass all over the kitchen floor.
Kisa, Eria, Raina and some other people were kind of just hanging out in the kitchen, where Kaku seemed to have just made some kind of grand entrance.
Rose blinked, and looked around confused. She turned to go into the rest of the kitchen, despite the glass, but her two kitsune guards lept forward and began to sweep up all the glass. With their tails. Rose just shook her head, and sighed. One of them turned and looked at her, and she quickly made the hand-sign for coffee, and he started rooting around the coffee maker. Rose went over to the dining table and sat down.
"So what did I miss?"

Se'rox: About That
Se'rox had guessed that, due to Zuchax III's lack of understanding of most things specific to humans, that he really had little idea what the whole marriage thing was really about. She was right. Having seen the kitsune guards take Rose away for rest, Se'rox held onto Zuchax III's arm like she thought she wouldn't be able to find her way through the house without it.
"So, what plans, exactly, do you have in mind?" Se'rox said to Zuchax III. Then she shook her head. She could tell that everyone else wanted a moment with him, too. Especially that Xeona. "Nevermind. I think you will have to let me plan this one. Perhaps I will get help from some of the other people who live here." The way she stressed the word people made it obvious that she meant people with hearts, not Nobodies.
However, Se'rox found that there weren't as many people willing to think about anything other than the missing Kaku to conspire with. In fact, no one would speak about why Kaku was not present, nor why so many others were gone. This went on for days, and Se'rox was starting to wonder if she would get any help at all. And she really just needed to explain to Zuchax III what had to happen, but she didn't think she was the right person to do the explaining. Some of the things Lilah had told her about matrimony still didn't make sense to her. Apparently they were just traditions. But that was exactly why she needed help. She didn't want something completely traditional- they were hardly a traditional pair, Zuchax III and Se'rox, but she wasn't sure where it would be appropriate to change things. She waited for someone else to get back to the house, and she wasn't even sure who that someone would be. But she did share with Zuchax III that she was waiting for someone that could help plan.
