Background
Richard never knew his real parents because his father abandoned him at an amusement park because he thought that since a lot of people went there, he would be noticed faster. Richard grew up at an orphanage. His father had given him a trait of red eyes, so because of that, no one wanted to adopt him. When he was fifteen he got a job at an ice cream store, and ultimately ran into his mother. She knew it was him, and they were reunited. She didn't bring his father until he turned sixteen. Finally, the orphanage was ready to let him go, when his mother decided to take him in and love him with all of her heart. Oddly enough, Richard began to get feelings for the person that his father hates most. Richard continues to love his father and the hated man, despite the grief that everyone gives him.
