“Date: Sometime in 2010.
Today I am writing this journal entry for ye, Ratt. When I am done writing it, I shall travel back to the year 2009 and put it in thou journal. You shan’t understand this entry yet (& ye probably don’t even know me yet, either), but it shall all unfold eventually, in the near future.

I am a time traveler. In the near future, we are allies, and critical ones, at that. Enjoy the semi-peace of the rest of 2009. The coming of the new year shall bring great crisis. Ye think the war is bad NOW, well, ye just wait till the coming year. I cannot tell thou much, but I can inform ye of this:

Thus far (for as long as I have been your ally, which, at the moment, has not been long), thou will lose two friends: One to death, the other, to battle. A piece of advice: no matter how distasteful it is to ye, thou must learn to use the electricity that ye try hard not to use or acknowledge. Combine it with two of thy other powers. Also, forget Sempton. Your pursuing him is unnecessary, and shall only invoke OTHER problems. Another military organization, unanticipated, will enter the war.

Oh, this war is not the type of war that ye are used to. It will cause much pain…and not all physical. In this war, friends are forced to fight friends unwillingly, but on their own accord. This shall make sense eventually. I will possibly tell ye more later.
