THIS WEEK HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MOST EMOTINAL AND SPIRTITUAL WEEKS I HAVE EVER HAD!
So I went to CIY (Christ In Youth) at my church
I met some amazing people of a different clicks!
DAY1- left home at 4p.m it was kind of boring AND VERY LOUD! My host family as a dong (midnight) that looks almost like Riley (my ld dog that died) so I spent most of my time with that dog to the point midnight was following me around the rest of the week
Day2- I was so tired and I danced my heart out in the morning it was about 8:30 a.m and they were playing rave music before camp I was dancing like crazy ad my friend Amanda was all “darn I should have brought glow sticks” after and I was in the mosh pit for the band that was singing every day of the week the lead singer was pretty but the way his hair was dyed made him look like he was wearing ear muffs (it was weird) we also at 2 p.m left and hiked up Mt. Charleston we got really high up and it was so amazing I loved it I took some awesome pictures I was sad that we didn’t make it to the top before we ran out of time it was amazing I loved all the people I met they made me feel so important. this was one of the HARDEST DAYS we ad to write some of our biggest sins on the back of these silver wrist bands and I did we wore them all day and at the evening session our leader had to bind our wrists together representing our sins binding us and we saw this video that 90% of the people were crying including me and we had to pray and ask to be forgive and then rip the bands off when we felt God forgive us I at one point was on my knees ry (like so many others) and then we had all the groups meet and some of us were getting up and sharing our sins and I did I was shaking and crying through the whole thing. My friend Austin even stood up and forgave his dad for all the things his dad had done to him. It was amazing. After that we were all ready to go to the host families home. We were up so late that day too 1 a.m talking with our host family.
Day3- another amazing experience , rave music in the morning service after that. that day I flipped out (I MET ALEX!!!!!!!!!!!) [only applies to those I know personally] the Alex with blonde hair and blue eyes hers and amazing guy always wanting to serve others and god. There was a comedian that came well actually four of them. They did some really funny things on dating and stuff it was just hilarious and I loved my friend Sarah was recording it so I hope to get the video from it. also I hung out with some friends the ymca was so fun we swam for awhile then went to the host families house and many things and also they all loaded bus and went to the ymca at night before that nothing interesting sat in the hot tub because we could and we a talked about randomness. When we did service we got paper towels tossed around the crowd that killed us cause we had been sitting in the front row the whole week.
Day4- pretty normal we all said we felt like we had been at camp for months because of all the stuff cram packed into each day. I got to watch my friends perform in a talent show amazing it was so fun and we pretty much hung out all day and I got a video of some of the performances everything was really emotional the rest of the week I didn’t go one day with out crying. I was so glad to go home and sleep I LOVED MY HOST FAMILY
Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL!!!
Day5- I was s glad to be home the message was amazing we had balloons that were on the stage and the singers were rocking out while Adam (the D.J.) was pushing balloons we blew up back into the mosh pit in the middle it was amazing and It was so crazy and I loved the do I hope that when I go to church on Sunday everyone is the same as they were at camp I MISSED MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS SO MUCH!!!!
