It's the tears that fall that make all the difference
Not the tears that hide behind the calm resistance.
It's the waking moments that describe the day.
And the vast memories that paves the way.

As the night approach the air is still.
As the daylight ends it feels surreal.
It's the open sky that holds all the truths.
And the humble stars that light them too.

It's the heart that beats that does not feel
And the lies that are told to the lives it steals.
It's the legs that are crippled when the body gives in.
Yet it moves forward again and again.

What does this say about human desires?
About our will to move forward, our will to be higher?
Is it our memories that hold us back, or the memories yet to make?
For fear of the result and the suffering it may take?

Are we truely in control of what we believe is ours?
Or is there truely a bigger picture that lies in the stars?
If that is true, what does that say about free will?
If our ending is determined is it our choice still?

You ask me to show you a way to live, a way to breathe.
When I show you the door, you ask me to leave.
Forgetting I'm the one who got yout here from the start.
Only remembering that where you stand is where you are.

How long must I suffer before justice is served?
Will it ever end and get the respect I deserve?
Must I get enraged and show my true colors?
In order for you to see that my feelings do matter?

Don't tell me I'm wrong when I say that you lied.
For many a nights I've laid here and cried.
Over what you did and what has yet to be done.
Cause a heartbreaker is a heartbreaker, when all is said and done.

So tell me to move on, and tell me to go.
Cause I'm more pain then you'll ever know.
Just turn your head and walk away.
As I try to make it through another day.
