Before I even start writing, I want to introduce myself as "Simply_Evangeline" and well am passing through the ironic world of highschool and yet, I have awesome friends and family.
My best friend, whom I will call Barb. B. Dahl, is awesome, though sometimes I hate her. But that's ok. I found out that in this times of economic crisis having an enemy is not worthy anymore. I mean, why to have an enemy when you have a friend like Barb, who you can love and hate at the same time? I am clearly lucky.
Probably, you are wondering why I am writing all this. No, it is not because I find it entretaining or because it is some sort of passion I had; in fact, I hate journals, you can ask to my Spanish teacher whaT i did whit the journal assigments she gave us. Oh my, who would know that the paper from my journal would burn faster than the paper from our math workbook? Amazing discovery. Anyway, back to the point, I decided to write this because I am bored, seriously bored. This summer is practicaly dead: My friends are out or working with their parents, I wasn't accepted in the courses I applied, and summer school wasn't really an option since the classes they were offering were not of my personal use. So, since my time is just as free as my rights, I decided to give this a shot. The only thing I can lose is my patience, right?
Well, today's story is about Barb and her persuit of happiness. Barb happiness, nowadays, depends in her dresses. Yeah, that's right. I mean, she is graduationg and all her mind is focused in dresses: shorts, longs, expensive, cheap, cute, or rude. It doesn't matter for her! As long as it is a cute dress, then she is pleased.
"I have a problem," Barb send me a message in MSN, I asked her why, thinking it was a serious problem but instead, I got the following dilemma:
"I got a HUGE, ENORMOUS, BIG AS YOUR HAIR, problem. My black dress, the one I was going to take to the graduation can't be fixed! And before you could even say, 'so what Barb, change it' Let me tell you it can't be changed because there is no more!!!!"
"Oh Barb," I typed back "Sorry, but you can buy a new dress..."
"Thats what I did, you zombie girl. I bought a very nice Liz Minelli. It was gold with gray on it, it was nice".
Ah! I was relief, Barb got a happy ending. At least is what I thought until...
"Happy ending? NO! this is not a happy ending! You wan't to know why, right? Well, this girl I really hate brought to the graduation photo the SAME dress as I did! I think I have a trauma now. You know I tried ti change the dress but there was no changing policy soI had to buy another dress, which ended up being HUGE. I think the dress is taller than me. So, my aunt decided to put an end to all this...she told me to choose two dresses from a webpage. I chose them and she was in charge of find them..."
"Lucky you, you are going to have 3 new dresses" I told her, though my friend Barb exploted again.
"NOOOOO! THERE WERE NO DRESSES ! My aunt wasn't able to get those dresses, now time is running out and still I have no dress for my graduation I have to go, mom is calling me. BYE".
And after that, she signed off. Poor Barb. You see the pursuit of a dress is often misuderstood by many. It takes time and tears so a girl can find the perfect dress, so the date can be impress. That my friends, sounds so patriotic...But if you are like me, finding dresses wont be really hard because normally they came to you. I dont buy dresses, but friends of my mom are often giving them to me.
The lesson is, dresses are a drag. Don't buy them. ^-^

This Fable is a Fact.
Simply as that, many tales can happen to just a single person, so here I am, writing about them.
"You Can Find Anything at all when there was nothing there all along."
