In the world of Gaia, people have Resonance Souls. These souls grant them special powers. But some of these powers are feared. The ones of most relevance are The Prophecies, which consist of The Phoenix and The Soul Stealer.
These Resonants are so strong that factions exist to try to stop them from destroying the world.

ConstantChaotic, or CC for short, is a web serial story I started a year a go and never finished. Here's the rewrite.

For those who are into Q origin stories, CC fell into the world that I called "Fantasm". CC1 was a heavy Q story. So far (I have 12 chapters written currently) Q is not a main character in CC2.

CC1 had a problem of too many characters brought into play in too short a time. CC2 spaces this out, eliminates a lot of needless characters and actually spends more time developing the characters it focuses on. All the characters have more depth and I think the story is much better already.

CC1 started out as a fan rehash of "Untitled Sniperville story #2", which was written by Magnius of the Chaos or "Maggeh" for short. It was basically a fanfic based on the main players of the Gaia Community Sniper Game guild. This story was humorous and lighthearted. I loved the world Maggeh created but I wanted a darker story, so I worked with Maggeh to create my own versions of his characters and develop my own story with his help. CC1 was heavily influenced by Maggeh's original story, which hadn't progressed very far at the time. I was working from character notes Maggeh had written and summaries of what was supposed to happen later on, which was completely different from where I wanted my story to go (but still awesome if Maggeh ever does finish his story). I was playing follow the leader with CC1 and I had planned to fix that for quite a while after I stopped updating, but couldn't figure out how.

After I got notification of Basic training, I flipped a lid and decided I should finish a lot of stuff I had planned to finish ages a go, CC being one of them (Finishing an AMV being another. I'm 1/4 of the way through a Code Geass one xD).

I've dropped any loyalties to Maggeh's original notes and characters and have developed everything on my own, almost completely rehashed every character and concept, redone people's powers and the entire storyline.
There are much less holes in the story now. The only downside is that there's not many action scenes. But I think that's been relieved by there being so much more DRAMA now. xP

CC started out as a guild thing for the Sniper Game, and staying true to its origins it still is mainly a guild thing. If guild members want their characters inserted into the story I have promised to try, although unlike the first CC, it is mostly only cameos now instead of full-fledged characters.

I am really proud of what I've done with CC so far and as such I believe that it is able to stand on its own, outside of the Sniper Guild. So for the few of you who actually read my journal (and aren't GCSGers) check out the story and let me know what you think?

And if you wish to make a cameo, let me know the character's name and a little bit about their personality and their looks.
However I cannot guarantee that all/any of the traits you list will remain unchanged, I can tell you that a character will be at the very least inspired by you.

CC2 is updated every Monday and Wednesday at noon EST on the website, automagically.

I write the story ahead. The site is (at tiem of this entry) on chapter 3, but I've written up to chapter 12.
I plan to have the entire story done (on my end) by the time I go to basic and the site should continue to update while I'm gone, hopefully finishing around the time I get back. =3
