Hey Guys originally I left for basic in August but I have now been told I leave AT THE END OF THIS MONTH (May).

Which is like 2 weeks D:

IF YOU OWE ME ART

I don't have an exact date for my leaving, but it is officially it is definitely this month (may). It could be tomorrow, it could be a week from now. I'll keep you updated.
But basically, you get that art done asap and I'll finish paying you.

If you don't finish it in time then you're s**t out of luck. I won't be here to give you your money.
If you somehow remember in 3+ months, or if I remember wtf is going on when/if I get back, then I'll pay you then, but yeah. Uh. Finish it asap.

IF YOU WANT TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH ME
In Basic we have no phones or internet, we can only snail mail.
If you want to send letters to me I can try and send letters back but I've heard various amounts of rumors about the time we have to actually read/write letters in basic so no guarantees.

Anyways PM me your address if you want to mail me and as soon as I get the address for boot camp/me I will let you know so we can start mailing eachother.
I do not know the address right now.

PM ME EVEN IF YOU GAVE ME YOUR ADDRESS BEFORE-- Chances are I forgot your address from last time.

I called Recruiter today and asked wtf was going on with basic. Other journal entries (after this one) have detailed the difficulties I've had with the stupid navy.

In a nutshell, somewhere along the line, my application got stuck in a deep void (Or the Navy hates me).

My recruiter says the story is this:
HQ called my recruiter and gave the order to tell me I leave in may. I quit my job.
HQ says "Hurry up and wait" for an exact date. Recruiter relays info.
Some unimportant confusion happens, leaving it up to debate if I actually go in May or not, but My recruiter says it's definitely probably still May.

My recruiter / local navy office calls, emails, etc., HQ to see when the hell my actual date is, since HQ gave the order that I was going in May in the first place.
HQ is suspiciously quiet on the matter, never answering any communication.

My recruiter says there's nothing I can do, knows I am frustrated since I quit my job, etc., but says that because of this whole black hole of communication s**t, nobody knows anything any more, and so my date for basic is up in the air.

SO I AM LEAVING FOR BASIC!
AT SOME POINT IN SOME TIME THAT NOBODY REALLY KNOWS stare
I'm going to just assume it's June, and hope to god it's June.
