The Legend of Bulma Greenleaf
Bulma Greenleaf was not an ordinary girl. Beside her talent in playing guitar, she had also extraordinary culinary talents. People who tasted her waffles felt overwhelmed and they were instantly happy.
One day, she met two strange creatures.
They looked like cats, but they could actually talk! Their name was Gypsy and Fi and they came from another dimension. They were stranded here because of an evil lord that had taken over their realm and they barely escaped from there.
Why did they come to Bulma would you ask? Because of the combination of her music and the waffles! As she was waiting for some waffles to be ready, Bulma was pensively playing on her guitar. Gypsy and Fi heard and smelled and were drawn to her instantly.
"Say, could we have a piece of these waffles?" said Gypsy, the bolder one.
Startled, Bulma looked around to see who had talked and only noticed the two cats. "Now, I'm hearing voices" she thought. She shrugged.
"Say, could we have a piece of these waffles?" repeated Gypsy.
That really was the cat. "Now, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs. Maybe I have fever?"
Then Fi said "we're not really cats you know. We came here by accident but the music and the odor were so good that we couldn't help but come".
And then, they proceeded to tell their story to Bulma, who took a long time before believing her eyes and ears. She shared some waffles with them, listening to the story and getting accustomed to talking cats.
They had escaped from their dimension, because an evil lord wanted to take away from them three very powerful items. The Headband of Power, the Pendant of Purification and the Watch of Chronos.
The bearer of these items would have tremendous power. With the headband, you instantly grew a fro and was given the strength of a hundred men. With the Pendant, you could purify what its light touched of any evil. And with the Watch of Chronos, you could stop time for a few minutes.
As they were talking, suddenly, a dark cloud grew into the room. They had been found!
A skinny arm, with claws, passed through the cloud and started to feel around, searching...
Gypsy and Fi were paralyzed by fear, but Bulma, startled at first, asked in a hurry "what is that? Is it searching for you? It's ugly!"
"Y..yes... it's a Steid, a beast at the service of Thalimon Dailzar, the evil Lord! (sorry Thalimon wink )
Bulma tried to chase it by hitting it with a Waffles Iron, but it seemed only to make it more frantic and she started to see a shoulder emerge from the cloud.
Cornered, Gypsy and Fi, talked Hurriedly. After which Gypsy, said :
"Take this Headband, Bulma, quick! and put it on! It will help!"
As she was backing off while hitting the thing with her Iron, Bulma grabbed the headband and felt it warm in her hand. It was calling her.
As if in a dream, she put it on quickly.
Instantly, she felt power surge through her body... her head tingled and, suddendly, she had a fro! But with it came huge strength! The Iron felt lighter, she could wield it with a single hand.
She struck at the ugly arm and it retracted back such was the power of her blow. The shoulder disappeared.
Fi said :
"Now, take that pendant and ban the creature, we will immobilize it!"
Gypsy jumped on her back with the Watch.
Fi jumped on her head, on the fro, with the pendant and passed it around her neck.
The pendant started to glow a pure white light. She could hear the beast moan and see it retreating.
But Gypsy said "Now!" and he pushed a button on the watch.
All things went still, save Bulma, Gypsy and Fi. The beast was frozen in time as well the the whirling cloud.
"Now concentrate and think very hard about banning it!" said Fi.
Bulma concentrated very hard and thougth about getting rid of that fearsome thing. The pendant glowed even more, releasing a blinding flash of pure light and then went out.
Time resumed abruptly and at once, she saw the arm crumble to dust and heard the wailing cry of the beast dying. The dark cloud dispersed and it was like nothing happened. Only a little dust remained.
Exhausted, Bulma fell on her knees.
Fi jumped from her fro and Gypsy from her back and said :
"You better remove the headband now, it drains a lot of energy. It's amazing! It accepted you instantly, as if you were made to have the fro power!"
Bulma, looking in a mirror on the wall, discovered herself with a fro for the first time. "Wow, it's sexy!" she thought.
She removed the headband and the fro disappeared. She already regretted it.
She handed the headband and the pendant to Gypsy and Fi and said
- "that was quite an experience!"
- "We were in hurry, but you did well. Better than anyone would have we think!"
- "Such power, it was amazing! The pendant seemed to talk to me and the fro is incredible!"
After a short dialog with Fi, Gypsy announced :
- "Say, would you like to help us? We would grant you this items for a time. We need someones's help to take back our dimension and you have been recognized by them as worthy. We could not find a better suited person fro the fro, except maybe the Queen Jenny, but she has to defend her own realm against Dailzar. And we love your Waffles!"
Bulma, still a bit confused, asked for a delay to think about it.
But in her heart she knew she had already accepted. The fight had awakened in her the desire to help and heal what she could.
- "But how could I remain hidden from the enemies? They will eventually know where we are and kill us!"
- "Not necessarily. We had forgotten to set a certain protection up, so they located us, but it will be harder now. And you can use the items to do good, if you remain an anonymous heroin"
- "Yes, I will have to wear a mask I suppose. If someone recognizes me, all my family and friends will be in danger"
And so the legend begins. The legend of Bulma Greenleaf, the Magical Fro Girl (with Waffles).
With the Headband of Power, the Pendant of Purification and the Watch of Chronos, she pursues evil and fights the hordes of Thalimon Dailzar, waiting and preparing for the final confrontation that will decide the fate of both worlds.
She goes masked, to protect her friends, with Fi on her head and Gypsy on her back. These three are a team and they fight relentlessly against evil and crime.
When the dark beasts sight her sexy fro, they flee in terror. Thalimon's lieutnants are moved by her sexiness and some of them think about defecting to her side.
The Evil Lord enrages and the final showdown will come soon enough, when Bulma and him will fight for the domination of hearts and minds and the possession of the Items of Power.
Her adventures are only beginning!
