Aralyn was sitting in her hut as her mother did her hair. "Mother, do you think Keydos will grow to love me, even though Im not pretty?" Ara asked." You are pretty." her mother said
"Only to you." Aralyn sighed.
"Well Now that I've done your hair you look lovely. Go out there, Keydos will be waiting." her mother urged and pushed her out the door.
Aralyn walked over to Keydos who stood against a tree. "You are late. You must learn to be on time, wife to be." Keydos said.
"I am sorry." Ara said bowing her head.
"Oh?" Keydos said raising an eyebrow "Is your endearing wild spirit on vacation miss Ara?"
"I brought a picnic. I'd like to show you one of my favourite spots." Ara invited.with a smile.
"Lead the way, my princess." Keydos said.
When they arrived Ara sat down and looked over the valley. "The edge of the forest overlooking Drendar, IS YOUR FAVOURITE SPOT ?!?" Keydos asked indignantly.
"It's pretty and the wind blows gently here." she said.
"I do not want to sit and over look a city of human filth." he scoffed.
"They are beings too. Why must we hate them?" Ara said
"Because they are weak. and disgrace mother earth herself. You have much to learn wife to be." Keydos spat.
Almost two months later Aralyn and Keydos were on their way back to his castle. They had to camp overnight. Ara was in a large tent with Keydos. She had tried to run a couple times without success. Keydos was leaning against heer and using his arm and weight to pin Ara down on the matress. "Husband, I must relieve myself." she said. Keydos lifted his arm. Ara reached for her outer robes, the night was cold. As she threw her robes around her she snuck her sword under them. Keydos took her arm roughly in his hand. He pulled her outside and motioned a guard over. "Aralyn must relieve herself. Follow her. Do not let her escape, she is unarmed and should be no trouble." Keydos ordered.
Aralyn walked quite a distance with the guard. "Miss, is there no spot here ?" the guard growled.
"If you would avert your eyes I can go right here." Ara said roughly.
The gaurd averted his eyes. Instead of squating Aralyn decapitated the guard and took off into the night.
